What a wonderful find!

I feel we got really lucky to find this little house. Arrival was easy and we got parked right outside. On entering, it felt just like coming into a home - welcoming, clean and really well decorated throughout. Everything we could've needed was provided, the layout was perfect for our needs. I love that there were real plants and even flowers <3 The sofas and beds are super-comfy and the dining area was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked with nice quality cookware, and it was lovely to be able to compost and recycle properly too. We really appreciated the welcome gifts - nice treats for everyone. I especially enjoyed the conservatory and the little garden. We had amazing weather on our visit and it was nice to be able to sit in a shady spot in the afternoon and watch the bees and butterflies also enjoying the raft of flowers, shrubs and fruit trees. My little one and I had great fun with the games too. Communications with the host were excellent from the start and my questions were answered quickly and warmly. We were really made to feel welcome. The house has such a "loved" atmosphere to it. Location wise I thought it might be a bit far from the beaches for a toddler, but it was actually much quicker and easier to get there than I expected, with and without the pushchair. As a bonus we got to watch the trains come through several times which was very exciting. There are a couple of nice playgrounds within walking distance and plenty of shops and cafes. We will be definitely looking to stay here again for our next visit.

As soon as we entered, we could tell it was well looked after and cared for. It was all furnished beautifully, which made it feel like a home.

Lovely end terraced cottage in a great location. Nice and clean with excellent facilities. Host left provisions including a bottle of wine as a welcome .

Only thing negative is parking can be a little tight but freespace along the road was ok.

Fantastic location, great host

Fantastic location, just a few minutes from the station and easy to walk into town. Lovely to have a bottle of wine left for us and some milk biscuits. Ruth also gave us a great recommendation to visit the seal colony at Flamborough, which we did and saw over 100 seals! Definitely worth visiting the birds at Bempton as well. We saw a puffin :-). Very comfortable property with two bathrooms/ showers and a good kitchen if you want to cook some meals

The quilts were too thick, but we just used blankets instead. It didn’t impact on our stay.

Lovely week in Bridlington @ Postman’s Cottage

very cosy warm house, comfy beds, nice furnishings, fully equipped, spacious with nice outside area. Good location, train station and Tesco around the corner. Bus station and the town a few minutes walk away. Thoughtful welcome gifts left, wine, fruit and sweets thank you! Also tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc. We will definitely visit again 😊

Parking is on a very narrow side road larger vehicles may have more problems but there is alternative parking close by. We managed to park 2 cars at all times outside the house. We sometimes struggled to get a good water pressure/temperature through the showers, but did get the hang of it eventually.

The cottage was amazing it was so welcoming and beautiful inside. Thank you to the host that made our stay fantastic and so welcoming even though we never saw anyone. The little welcome gifts were very thoughtful. The sofas were so comfy they ate you up. Everything about the cottage was great!!!! Thank you very much We will come back 😊

This is a lovely place to stay in Bridlington, near the town centre with shops, cafes & pubs nearby. It's not far from beaches and lots of interesting places to visit.

couldnt have got a better location,husband uses an electric weelchair so he could pop down to supermarket and into the town.

the stairs were a bit to steep but he managed,said we should have booked 2 weeks.

Lovely little cottage finished to a high standard, perfect for our short break.

Good central location, only a short walk to the sea front and shops. Property was exceptional with everything you could need. High level of cleanliness was one of reasons we booked this cottage and wasn't disappointed. Lovely touches by the host-Ruth, including water and bowl outside for our little dog Millie, milk in the fridge, fruit, biscuits etc to get us started.

We would struggle to find anything we didn't like.

Just perfect

postman’s cottage is a real treat. it is beautifully decorated with absolutely everything you could possibly need and more. It is in an ideal location for the supermarket and train station, close to the town centre and close to the beautiful beach. The cottage was spotless from top to bottom and the garden is so pretty. Ruth as a host was so accommodating, excellent communication and nothing was too much trouble. There is so many personal touches that make this cottage stand out from others we’ve stayed in. we hope to return to Bridlington and 100% will look to book this cottage.

Beautiful property and location , Ruth was amazing , she was very help & informative .

Postman’s cottage is amazing , beautifully decorated , the attention to detail is lovely and stylish including fresh flowers . Close to all amenities, the seafront and the train station . On arrival we were left some goodies some fresh fruit , hot cross buns , homemade jam and an Easter egg ( which my son devoured) . Ruth was amazing and left us some leaflets of places to visit in the area and nothing was too much problem . The beds are so comfortable . Everything you need for a lovely stay . The garden is very pretty especially the night lights , very cosy . .
