Excellent location right in the centre of Kirkwall. Excellent parking. Really well maintained, comfortable apartment. The apartment had all the necessary equipment and we absolutely loved the place!!… our host David kept regular contact via text message and sent us a lovely welcome message just before we arrived - which we found very reassuring. We arrived at the apartment after 11PM (key-safe in place - great idea!)…. and David had put the lights on, which again made for a lovely welcome - I / we highly recommend for your stay on Orkney. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Loved our little home-away-from-home in Kirkwall!

Location in old town. Lovely host. Close to everything. Free pkg. Nice feel. Love Orkney & Kirkwall! Recommend Orcadian Restaurant at Ayre Hotel for scallops & a visit to Skara Brae!! ❤️

We were given an upgrade from a studio to a 1BR but still found the bed a bit ‘squeezy’ for us. A couple of minor repairs were needed (light bulb, chair) but host made them promptly when we let him know. He even gave us a couple of Orkney gifts & made us feel very welcome. Overall a very nice stay & we would definitely book there again! Thank you David!

host very helpful, but I think others would benefit with a bit more detailed explanation of the way to get to flat, and how the lock box works. Google maps mis-locates it, and the lock box seemed common sense but I needed neighbour to open it. Room was very good, and actually more than I really needed...location was excellent.

The location was ideal, standard of apartment is superb, plenty shops, bars, cafes within 5 mins walk, 150 meters from cathedral and town centre. Taxi rank 150 meters from door for further locations.

I wish we had booked a longer stay!

The location was perfect, a two minute walk from the town centre with all essential shops close by. Kirkwall has lots of small independent, quality shops & eateries, there’s no shortage of banks too.

We found nothing that we didn’t like or thought coukd have been better. The apartment was extremely comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean and in an ideal location.

We loved Kirkwall and the apartment was a good sized, comfortable place to come back to.

The apartment is very central so it is easy to get to anything in Kirkwall, the tourist information and bus station are just across the road! They have got everything you need in the kitchen if you're cooking. The sofa was so comfy to curl up in after a day out in the fresh air. The owner gave clear instructions and was available to help.

The host was very helpful and more than ready to come and repair the lights when asked, even though he lived some distance away.

We had no concerns with either the property or the reception we were afforded.
