Broad Street Gardens - Apartment 4

Lovely property, very well-equipped, high spec quality furnishings with super comfy beds. Spotlessly clean and nice outlook over the pretty museum gardens. Good heating system, fab shower, spacious apartment throughout. Great location, very short walk to beautiful St Magnus Cathedral, variety of good restaurants, Kirkwall Travel Centre where all the bus stops are, and close to the harbour. Big supermarkets close by (Lidls and Tesco) and a local Co-op. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.

Very reassuring to have interior fire doors but heavy doorstops would have been useful for active mornings in and out of the rooms whilst getting ready. Bathroom window wouldn’t open and the fan didn’t seem to be working - didn’t affect our personal enjoyment but we were concerned about the condensation on your behalf. Couldn’t connect tv to the internet and thus unable to watch netflix etc together but didn’t overly bother us, we were able to watch Freeview. Neighbours upstairs quite noisy with music at times and stomped around quite a bit but not late at night or early morning so they didn’t cause any sleep deprivation!
