Fabulous location in Kirkwall with all the amenities needed for a lovely stay.
The Castleyards apartments are right in the heart of the village within walking distance to all the sights plus restaurants and grocery stores, etc. The apartment is compact but contains everything you need to enjoy your stay. The shower was a decent size and had excellent water pressure. The owners were responsive to questions.
The bedroom is very small. There is only access in/out of the bed on one side.

Was small, not a problem, but the bedroom was the only problem. Too small for a double bed and no bedroom door. Not obvious from the pictures.
