Sunny Canal a/c wifi

Location was perfect, the view was exceptional. Beds and pillows were cozy and AC worked great. Kitchen was great! Quiet apartment as well but lots of fun people watching and action on the canal.

Check in was a bit difficult but worked out in the end. Apartment breaker was off and took us a bit to figure it out - was very hot and fridge was warm at first. After a long travel day it through us off but we got over it pretty quick.

A great location to get around Venice and generally a good space. Good communication from the host.

The apartment could have been cleaner. One shower is tiny, the other was broken so you had to hold the head. The aircon was not brilliant but it was very warm in Venice during our stay.

Loved the canal view. Great location. We highly reccomend spending time/eating in near by Campo Santa Margherita. There is a very close vapperetto stop Ca' Rezzonico. We were also able to get the airport shuttle on Alilaguna at the Ca' Rezzonico stop as well, all flat walk, no bridges, to sunny canal property. I wish the property owner had shared that option when we arrived . The wifi worked well. The a/c was very good, be sure to read the information on the door, if you exceed a certain temperature they will charge you extra.

The instructions to the property were not exactly accurate, the most direct route was blocked, but you can easily get there down the next ally. We highly reccomend using the Ca' Rezzonico vapperetto stop, it is much easier than hauling your luggage over many bridges. Please note, sometimes in the allies you can loose Google maps. We were very disappointed when we arrived. The bed spread had stains on it and when we checked the mattress I was very concerned about the dirt and ?? in the mattress piping. There were stains on the mattress (both sides). After lengthy discussions on WhatsApp, using Google Translate, we were able to sort things out with the owner, and the cleaning person came the next day to clean the mattress and put a cover on it. We moved the stained bedspread to another room. The owner even knew the bedspread was stained. We had booked with Booking.com, and they tried to help, but because of the language barrier the property owner wouldn't work with them. Honestly, as big as Booking.com is I would think they would use a translation service. The main bathroom door is swollen/warped and drags on the floor, it makes an awful noise, the neighbors must love that. Both showers had rust and mold in the tracks. Overall the floors were a little dirty, we suggest bringing slippers. We were there September 20-24, 2026 and there was construction on the building attached to the property. Very loud pounding/chiseling, at time using power tools to strip off the plaster. This was obviously beyond the owners control.
