Location was great - close to the beach and the nature reserve. A very interesting town to visit - full of history. The people were very friendly and helpful - we had a wonderful breakfast in a local cafe, run from the owners' home in the historic part of town. The layout of the cottages was perfect for our large group of adults and teens.
It was quite cold, and heating the unit was not easy although the fireplace did help. It would also have been helpful to mention during the booking process that there are 2 separate locations available. But overall there was really nothing significant that we didn't like.

Arniston is lovely. Comfortable cottage; Nice shower; Grateful for the electric blanket.
It was freezing cold inside the cottage when it wasn't as cold outside (we were grateful for the electric blanket & that we brought a little heater.) A few leaking taps which we reported. Steep outside staircase (not easy for senior citizens to lug suitcases up & down). We could hear the youngsters talking in the room next door (through the thatch in the bathroom).

we were concerned about the height of the railing of the staircase into the flat 2D, it is too low and someone can fall over if you loose your balance, furthermore the railing on the balcony has two or more of the screws loose and the wood pieces will fall out please repair
