Great house with an incredible view at the top, and close to the tram for a quick access of Porto center

Clean, spacious, safe neighboorhood with a lot of good local restaurants and shops. Close to two metro stations.
Lack of outdoor furniture. Both the laundry machine and the dish washer didn’t work. We asked for clean towels but they never arrived. You share the pool with another apartment so it can be crowded and noisy out there depending on the neighbors.

It was spacious. There was plenty of hot water and it was well heated. The bedrooms were comfortable with en suite facilities. Access to the metro and local shops was easy.
Neither of the inside seating areas could accommodate six people very comfortably.
The kitchen was poorly stocked: we bought (and left) a corkscrew; there was a bare 6 cups/mugs; there wasn't a saucepan big enough to cook enough pasta for six people. The sink didn't have a functioning plug and there was one sponge (which had been cut in half) and a single tea towel. No cleaning products were available and we had ants running up the kitchen work tops (in February).
WiFi was poor, really only worked on second and third floors.
There was a cat poo on the veranda when we arrived, and although we were promised it would be cleared up, it was still there when we left. Luckily the weather wasn't great and so we weren't able to sit outside anyway.
