Gorgeous setting but let down by easily fixable things

The venue's location is incredible, with gorgeous views on the bay. The hotel is tastefully decorated, and stylish.

A couple of issues: -Very cold check-in experience, and generally service was chaotic as most staff was young and inexperienced. This led to a lot of queues, a lot of waiting, and lack of information. I was called to make a dinner reservation, but then this was not there when I arrived so I had to book at the last minute elsewhere. Likewise, my room was changed from one with a balcony to one without, but no one explained this to me. Just a bit of communication and friendliness would have improved our experience. -The room was dusty, I had to clean under the bedside lamps as there was a thick layer of dust -Beds uncomfortable as they were too single beds pushed together without anything keeping them together.

A good base for exploring, but needs some improvement.

Ouessant is gorgeous and the property has a great location. It is an easy walk from the bus stop right in town. The views are very nice, walks are right outside the door and bicycle rentals are next door.

There was a strange smell in the hotel, we couldn’t figure out what it was. There is no internet, except in bar area, and no TV’s in room. Quite expensive for what you get.

Astounding view at the sea from comfortable hotel room

Some rooms in the hotel have a balcony and wonderful view at the central bay of Ouessant (ask for room 2 or 3 for example if you want these). The bar is very well equipped and well visited by islanders as well as tourists and hotel guests. The atmosphere is very aimable. Good restaurant with a nice menu card. The bathroom was recently renovated and very comfortable, as was the bed, I slept very well. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

beautiful, but very poor Q/P ratio

Rooms are very cosy, well decorated in light wooden style. Italien shower is very pleasant. As expected, location is ideal: central but very quiet and facing the sea.

Despite what the hotel (and booking) say, there is *NO* wifi in the rooms, only in the restaurant and bar ; rooms are hardly cleaned durng your stay: in four days, vaccum cleaner was NEVER used (think of the room floor after 4 days of a (very) rainy weather) and NO towel was changed ; Some staff members (not all!) are really not welcoming ; checking is 3PM and checkout 12:00, but the boat shuttle arrives at 11:00 so you have to wait for more than 4 hours befoer getting your room (actually, we had to wait another half hour!): it would be smarter to shift the checkin / checkout by 1 hour for instance... Not in their plans it seems

Stunning location

Property was modern and clean. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast delicious good quality and using local ingredients. Will be back!

Frühstück: ausgezeichnet, geräumiger Essraum mit Aussicht und Morgensonne. Lage am Meer ausgezeichnet; grosse Veranda; direkt am Ausgangspunkt zu Wanderung. Veloverleih direkt neben an.

Loin de ce qu on attend

L accueil et l emplacement

Réserver une chambre pour 2 à plus de 200 euros la nuit ( + 30 euros de déjeuner) soit 232 euros avec vue sur mer et se retrouver dans une chambre qui n est pas face à la mer et dont l équipement est des plus simples, on reste sans voix. Franchement, prix totalement abusif et injustifié.

Un bel endroit pour une première visite de Ouessant

Bel hôtel en bord de mer. Employés aimables, sympathiques qui offrent de bons conseils. La salle petit-déjeuner offre une vue imprenable.

Ce n'est pas que ce n'était pas apprécié, mais le prix du petit-déjeuner est assez haut par rapport à ce qui est offert. Mais, il y a très peu d'alternatives dans le bourg.

un séjour idyllique

L'emplacement est exceptionnel, les pieds dans l'eau ! La baie de Lampaul s'offre à vous avec son paysage unique de roches et de plages aux pentes couvertes d'Arméria maritime rose. Sans compter l'accueil exceptionnellement bienveillant du directeur.

Il y a encore (13 et 14 mai 2025) des travaux en cours dans la cuisine. Attention à la corrosion marine sur les parties métalliques des balcons.

Bien mais perfectible

Idéalement situé sur l’île, vue sur mer, salle de bain très bien, lit confortable ( moins les oreillers), ensemble de l’établissement très bien tenu.

Isolation médiocre, petit déjeuner complet mais avec du pain et des viennoiseries à priori de la veille, le rapport qualité prix devient très îlien…

Lage und Personal

Zu teuer für ein Mansardenzimmer mit nur tröpfelndem Wasser. Keine 100 Euro pro Nacht wert. Am Ende hätte ich noch 40 Euro zusätzlich zahlen müssen, obwohl bei Booking com bezahlt. Habe ich nicht getan. Wie gesagt nettes Personal, aber gierige Besitzer.

Chambre avec un lit double constitué avec deux lits simples. Dans la nuit les matelas s'écartent et forment un trou. Pas de renouvellement des serviettes de bain en 4 jours sur place

La situation de l'hôtel près du centre de Lampaul. Chambre spacieuse, mais en manque de petits détails qui aurait pu la rendre plus confortable

Amabilité variable selon le personnel. Pas de thé noir au petit déjeuner. Pas de télévision dans la chambre. Tarif élevé pour les prestations de l'établissement
