Location to where we wanted to visit was ideal. Close to local pubs and attractions.
3rd bedroom could have done with a curtain as well as the blind in line with the other bedrooms. The early morning sunlight woke my daughter up.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage, nice and warm too. Pub in village very welcoming and some great dog walks straight from the front door. Locals very friendly and countryside beautiful. Ashbourne in very easy reach as was the Tissington Trail and other towns like Matlock and Bakewell
There was no suitably enclosed garden area for a Labrador sized dog to safely be let out in. Not a problem as we walked them over the road.

The price was good for our stay. Good location to reach Dove Dale. Good access to walks nearby. Good selection of rooms and well stocked kitchen.
The internals of the property are very tired. The carpets are dirty and old. The property smelt of damp. It needs quite an overhaul to bring up to modern standards. The price paid did match the current state of the property.
