Building works
Location difficult- the villa is located part way up a mountain, with very windy roads to access, and a very steep drive. If you have a car, you must be prepared to drive on very challenging roads to access the local town. Walking from the property is hazardous.
The building site next door! Unfortunately we were not informed, prior to booking, that a villa is being built next door. What was worse - the drive to the villa is in front of the villa we rented. Concrete walls were constructed on the drive whilst we were there. The noise from builders and machinery from 8 am till 5.pm every day were dreadful. Booking.com doesn’t seem to think this is an issue.

The view and recently built so everything new and clean.
Lots of construction still going on outside which gave quite some noise early in the morning. Although description told us that WIFI would be available , unfortunately there was none. Also kitchen equipment is rather limited- there are no wine glasses, no toaster and only very small casseroles which made it difficult to Cook a meal for 6. The outside furniture is also not equipped for 6 persons. Very small table and only 5 chairs available. Additional taxes had to be paid being 1€, per person per night and could only be paid in cash.
