Spectacular view of the Tigullio Gulf, spacious and comfortable apartment, wonderful hosts

The view is absolutely spectacular. You can see the entire gulf, from Sestri Levante to the east to Portofino to the west. You have a front seat view of how the seascape changes on daily or even hourly basis. You can hear the waves while having your meals or waking up in the morning. We spent 2.5 weeks, at a time when movement was restricted due to COVID, but we were just as happy sitting around, and having meals in the living room overlooking the sea (in April it was a bit too chilly to sit outside). The apartment is very spacious, well equipped with kitchen stuff, and nicely decorated in a maritime style; not everything is brand new or perfect but that contributes to a lovely "lived-in feel" - it is not impersonal and aseptic as newer facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and linen and towels provided. Excellent internet service allowed me to keep up with work, including zoom calls with the US. The location is optimal, right on the Lungomare, with coffee shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, groceries, newspapers close at hand. Both the manager (Carla) and the owner were super responsive and helpful, both before our arrival and during our stay.

The one draw back is that the building is not far from the railways, so you can hear a few trains going by at night, but they were not frequent or close enough to be a bother, even for a light sleeper.

Lage war super, Wohnung gross, mit schöner Aussicht von Terrasse oder Balkon auf Meer und Berge. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Leider teilweise auf der Terrasse ziemlich lärmig und Strandzugang vis-a-vis Wohnung gesperrt, da Ende Mai und Anfang der Strand vorbereitet für wurde und ein Lastkahn grosse Steine im Uferbereich ausgebaggert hat. Es müsste bei der Schlüsselübergabe unbedingt jemand dabei sein, um nach einer anstrengend Anreise die Wohnung gleich zu finden und das Wichtigste zu erklärt zu bekommen. Der Hausschlüssel klemmt etwas und ein paar Hinweise zur Wohnung sind auch ganz nützlich.

Come scritto in altre recensioni, la vista dall'appartamento e dallo splendido terrazzo vale la vacanza. Appartamento vecchiotto ma molto confortevole e molto ben fornito in ottima posizione, siamo stati benissimo. Ho apprezzato molto anche la gentilezza e la disponibilità della signora Carla. Consigliatissimo!
