About this house rental
Our guest house located on our 100-acre private ranch. The space is fresh and bright, providing a year-round, comfortable and relaxing environment. Stay, enjoy the company of friends and family, and unwind in a natural and tranquil setting. The sleeping options are flexible, with one fixed Queen bed, one King that can be split into Twin XLs, and a Twin or Queen option in the "Sunroom". There are two inviting bathrooms, including the master which has a spacious walk-in shower which is perfect for soothing tired muscles after an exhilarating day in the mountains. The open plan living area is equally well-suited to entertaining or to simply relaxing for a night in, and the kitchen facilities are equal to that of a typical family home. When not in use as a bedroom, the "Sunroom" is an ideal place to relax with a book or simply to enjoy the views of our special cottonwood tree, the birds and the deer that roam the fields leading down to the river. The Guest House has a patio area, with seating, dining table, a BBQ, and fantastic views. We also have a "rustic" indoor storage area for bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and any other toys you'd like to bring with you.
Guests at Palisade River Ranch have access to the trails across the main property, to the river and riverfront, and also the 1500 sq ft deck and screened gazebo down at the river. The riverfront and deck are great areas to enjoy a BBQ or campfire, to play games and to generally enjoy the serenity of our stretch of the Colorado. For those interested in floating the river, we have excellent put-in/take-out access. Guests can also explore our 45-acre riparian habitat, which is a great place to see an array of wildlife. (NB - The Visitors and Events Policy applies to all day/non-resident visitors and fees may apply. Access to some areas may be limited by seasonal restrictions, private parties or other events, and is subject to guests' agreement to a liability waiver).

Everything was spectacular! We were in town for a wedding and the accommodations were perfect for our family of 5 (3 younger kids). The property was beautiful sitting along the Colorado River and felt very private. We ran and walked each morning along the River front walk. The best part was the kids were allowed to collect eggs each day from a chicken coup and we had fresh eggs each morning! The area of Palisade had great food and wine. We also did the Palisade Rim Trail which was fun and beautiful! Thank you for being an excellent host!

Our 5 day stay could not have been any better. The grounds of the property were perfect for walks and relaxing. The unit itself was excellent, well organized, super clean, and in excellent shape. The owners, Jen and Cameron were super friendly and very accommodating. We have stayed at many properties over the years, and Riverfront Ranch would definitely rate at the top. Will definitely consider a return visit to Palisade and a stay at Riverfront ranch.

Beautiful property, pet friendly, onsite ponds for fishing and nice accommodations. Was not aware the guest house was attached to owners house. They have their own dogs and they did greet us a few times. Was not a big issue but would like to know in advance that it was extension of owners home; it did have its own private entrance. House was comfortable and nice to have AC and fans as it was warm during our stay. We did enjoy the relaxing quiet area with lots of sitting areas outside. The fishing was really fun too. If you are into bicycling you should certain visit this area. We have a great time.
