Dupres House, Chavasse Farm, Somme Battlefields

We loved everything about staying here! Richard and his wonderful wife are beyond what you could expect from hosts! The home we stayed in was absolutely immaculate, clean, bright, smelled lovely and the facilities were wonderful. The beds were comfortable, and we received a lovely welcome package when we arrived! The bar / lounge area is superb as are the views and peace and quiet. We can’t praise the home or hosts highly enough, 100/10. Richard also gives great tours if you’re interested! X

Prachtige plek. Heel veel rust. Fijn persoonlijk ingericht huis. Brandschoon. Welkomstpakket van water, melk en wijn! Heerlijk opgemaakte frisruikende bedden.

An excellent property in a charming location. The absence of traffic and busy roads makes this a peaceful location if you have had a busy day touring the local battlefield sites of Picardy. An excellent location and an equally charming host, Richard, who could mot have done any more to assist.

Chavasse Farm ‘breathes’ WWI, it is very atmospheric and has the perfect location if you want to explore the Somme. Also the individual rooms are completely in WWI theme with many historical artefacts. The house was well equipped, clean, and many thanks to Michelle and Richard who were very friendly and were happy to answer all our questions and wishes.
