Great location

Location was great - just off the town centre. Free parking on the street right outside or in the town hall car park just round the corner. Comfortable property. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great little property, great stay.

Decent size property, more than big enough for 2 or 3 people. Good amenities, access to Netflix and WiFi etc. Good location near to the centre and shops . Friendly host. I was pleasantly surprised with the standard of the accommodation for the price we paid. The host contacted us to let us know that some renovation work was being done in the lobby but this didn't bother us with the workman being friendly and respectful. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The only negative comments i have are that it could have done with drying facilities to go with the washing machine (drying rack/airer), also More than 2 towels needed when staying for more than a night or 2. The previous washing was left in the washing machine (bedding and towels) with nowhere to dry them or move them to and I ended up having to wash it again before the end of my trip as it had been left wet for 5 days and it had begun to smell of damp.

Exceptional

We did a very last-minute booking as we were camping nearby, but rain was expected, and we didn't want to pack up in the morning in the wet, so we decided to book the apartment. When we walked inside, everything was immaculate and had all the amenities you could think of onsite. The apartment was very close to the town centre, and there were plenty of restaurants and bars available. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

The only gripe was that the sofa bed wasn't fit for an adult; fortunately, our 3-year-old daughter was able to sleep on the sofa, but once pulled out, one of the beams digs into your back, so it's not suited for a teenager or adult

OK for two people if you bring a fan and leave before the church bells start at 7am

The neighbour upstairs was very friendly and had a nice chat with us. The shower was nice, and there was plenty to choose from on the television. The decor was nice, but more care needed to be placed into the quality of items like the dining setup and that atrocious sofa bed.

When we first opened the door, we were overwhelmed by the stench of old cigarettes and mould. I sent the host a message so we wouldn't be charged and never received a reply. The flat has poor ventilation and no fan and becomes extremely hot during the day even with the shades down due to the lack of circulation. As a laugh, there was a note on the kitchen window that said, "Do not open." It was broken and opened to the trash bin area which smells like hot garbage but we opened it anyway as it would have been unbearable to stay if not. The windows are still missing privacy curtains. We had to do the washing up with wadded paper towels because the sponge was full of mould and mildew, and this is after putting it in the microwave and spraying it with Lysol. We didn't want anyone to get sick, but I'm sure that sponge was used to wash the few glasses we left. The kitchen table and chairs are silly. Our kids were complaining about the height and size of the chairs and they're tiny people! The sofa bed is a joke. I think if you slept on the rug on the floor it would be softer. The double bed was alright; we had to take the curtain down or roast in our sleep because it was so hot despite having the windows open with the shades down all night. And in the morning, when you finally start to dose off to sleep, the bells start and go every hour. LOL We went out for breakfast and came back to the flat and it was so hot and funky we packed up our stuff, cleared up and checked out a day early and left the area outright.

Would recommend for anyone touring the Somme battlefields and would definitely use again.

Great location for touring the WW1 battlefields. The property looks a bit run down from the outside but inside the apartment is very good, very nice bathroom and kitchen. Great for just my 18 year old son and I, we stayed 7 nights, that many nights for more than 2 adults might be a bit of a push. Had a problem the first night but speedily rectified. For those people complaining about the lack of privacy curtains, during the day we left the curtains drawn, we were out anyway, and at night we lowered the blinds which stopped anyone seeing into the property.

No instructions for using the cooker or washing machine. Sofa bed was not very comfortable.

It is very convenient for a Tour of the Somme Battlefields and we enjoyed our stay.

Location was perfect for our needs. The space was well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately we had a communication problem about key codes but the kind neighbour called the French owner for us and that was wonderful.

The outside of the building does not reflect how pleasant and modern the unit is. Also the entrance hall was rather dirty but inside it was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Very good. Emanuel is a great host and the flat is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. I used as a base for visiting battlefields and had all the things you could want, including clothes washing and electric kettle.

Good location and, at 50 euros per night, good value for money (except for the last night!!)

Albert is very well situated for 'military' tourism. Accommodation is fairly central but easy to get to and from. Parking is available on the street or in a large carpark around the corner. Enough decent eating / drinking places nearby for a 5 day stay. Apartment is well equipped, clean and well heated. Helpful neighbours in the building and the owners available at reasonably short notice.

A slight smell of damp - able to hide it with a scented candle that was already strategically placed in the apartment. It is a ground floor apartment with windows at pavement level - we quickly got used to people looking in when passing by! Slept on mattress on the floor on the last night due to a leak onto the bed from empty apartment upstairs. Helpful neighbour called the owner (who also owned the upstairs unit). He appeared in an under an hour.

The location was reasonable. The Bistro on the corner turned us away, but others were a comfortable walk away. We liked the apartment, and it was well looked-after. The host took care to keep us informed ahead of time.

Un bon séjour à recommencé.

Nous avons adore l'hébergement en général malgré quelques petit défaut ne dérangeant pas pour autant le séjour.

Nous avons juste vu des petits défaut de nettoyage et d'entretien.. Comme le filtre à eau avec du calcaire. Le placard sous l'évier de cuisine qui présente des traces de rouille sur le fond. Le frigo avec une trace bleuté. Et un petit défaut sur la porte menant au local poubelle qui a beaucoup de mal s'ouvrir. Les lumière du Hall ne fonctionner plus également. Et la petite lumière du miroir de la salle de bain ne fonctionner pas non plus.
