Secure onsite parking, large bathroom (bath and great shower), large and well equipped kitchen, comfortable combined sitting room and bedroom. All windows shuttered enabled comfortable interior during hot weather. Generous and welcoming hosts.

This place is a true gem! The hosts are the kindest people and really helped us out. We arrived quite late on a Sunday after cycling from Dieppe - the shops in France had all closed at 1pm. Our hosts were kind and obliging enough to provide us some food for dinner and breakfast the next day, as well as getting us fresh bread from the bakery! A butcher's van also stops on this street so you can buy fresh meat. The following Monday was also a holiday, with local shops closed, so they drove us to a supermarket in a nearby bigger town to help us get provisions for our stay. We also experienced a heatwave so they provided us with a large fan for the bedroom which really helped. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! There is also a large garden and pleasant coutyard in front where you can sit to enjoy the evenings. The property itself is gorgeous with many charming touches and decor, and the beds are so comfortable. I preferred it over my own bed at home! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking (pots & pans, utensils, etc all provided), with basics such as spices and olive oil in the cupboard for guests to use. The bathroom is gorgeous - a walk in shower and huge bathtub. Everything was very clean. This is a perfect place for a family of 4 or two couples. As there was only two of us it really felt very spacious! We cannot wait to visit again. The location is also lovely for visiting all the battlefield sites. It is very near to Thiepval Memorial and Beaumont Hamel. There's a small convenience store in Miraumont just a few minutes walk from this home, which is convenient for picking up essentials. You cannot find a better place to stay than this!

The location of this property was perfect in a small village on the Somme so great for walking and battlefield touring. The house had everything that y you oh would need for a long stay, and had plenty of space. The hosts were great and had left tea, coffee, milk, home made jams and plenty of other goodies for us. Ned’s were comfortable and the house spotlessly clean. Great hot shower that was massive. It also had plenty of private parking and a garden area for when the weather is good.
