The Lionheart Close to Old Town

Great location up the hill from the main hustle and bustle. Very close to walk into the old city but you feel a million miles away when you get back to the property.

It was clean and had everything you needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the washing machine a godsend when travelling.

I feel the mattress should be replaced or maybe I like a softer bed. Like most of Dubrovnik don’t stay if you have mobility issues.

Host was really lovely and met us on arrival to give us the keys and show us the apartment. Has a full kitchen, dining area, patio, bathroom and large bedroom with ample storage and large, comfortable bed. Tea & Coffee facilities with coffee machine. Washing machine too (we didn't use this though). AC worked really well. Location is really good - you just walk down one street (all steps, but gentle incline (for Dubrovnik at least!)) down to the main gate into the old-town.

All small things: I think I got the impression from one of the photos that there's a view from the terrance / patio - there isn't. A few things needed fixing / updating: in the bedroom, the main light was loose from the ceiling and was flickering, and in the bathroom, the top of the shower was loose from the wall (shower needed modernising really) and paint was missing near the window. Also the front door was really squeaky and needed some fiddling. There wasn't a bin in the kitchen, so we just used the one in the bathroom for everything. A couple of the photos are out of date / not accurate (only a couple though).
