Great Place to Stay!
This is a comfortable, dual-level, family town home situated 1 block from the beach at Rio Del Mar … just far enough to feel peacefully apart from the crowds, but an easy amble to the beach. This popular beach runs south of Santa Cruz and boasts miles of sand and a variety of restaurants. There is also a shopping center with a major grocery store; sundries and hardware store and other shops and restaurants nearby. A 2 minute walk takes you to the Seacliff State Park and Beach with BBQ and picnic areas, fishing pier and walking path.
This furnished vacation home has vaulted ceilings; tile and carpeted floors; large, open floor plan; and its own private deck. The secluded deck is a wonderful spot to relax and listen to the ocean. The kitchen has a bar counter with bar stools and a separate family style dining table and tiled counter tops.
Linens are included at no extra charge. Stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and blender are all there to make you feel at home during your stay (plates, silverware and cookware provided).
2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably. We may consider up to two additional guests; please check with us in advance. An additional fee of $20 per night applies for each extra guest.
Parking available off-street. Extremely CLEAN, has patio furniture; and a BBQ.

This property is one block from the beautiful beach with a market, coffee/pizza/restaurant, and deli located within the block. The property was just as described and was clean with 1.5 bathrooms. Shower has really great water pressure as well. The property has all the amenities one would expect like coffee (thanks for stocking it well), kitchen utensils with pots/pans and plenty of kitchenware. There is a dedicated parking spot right behind the property in the alley so you don't have to worry about street parking. The property is dog-friendly as described but one word of caution if staying in Aptos for 4th of July is that the neighborhood lights fireworks all night so if you or your dog don't like this, it's something to keep in mind. This is in no way a knock against the property at all, just an FYI.

Excellent location, nice place. While it is amazingly close to the beach, there is a Viaduct that runs nearby that seems to put off some odors occasionally.

The location of this home is right behind the main street and beach. Easy walking to restaurants, the ocean, and walking paths. The home is comfortable, but with a little more TLC I believe this could be an adorable and more comfortable place to stay. (Nicer sheets and pillows, bedding decore, and more comfortable seating in the living area). We had an issue with getting into the residence, however, the owner worked with us to get access and offered to have it fixed. There were a couple minor issues we had to deal with that will hopefully be taken care of for future stays.
