You can park in the driveway or right in front of the house. Nisene Marks County Park is 5 minutes from the house with the most amazing hiking and world class mountain biking and breathtaking forest!

Your comfort and safety come first. The bungalow is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every stay, with extra care for high-touch surfaces like light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, and remotes.

I was living in the house in the 1 bedroom until I had my baby. I do not live on the premises anymore so you will not see me. There is a detached studio with its own patio completely separate at the front of the house however you will enter the same gate to get to your unit.

Stayed with a friend. Place is very family and pet friendly. Lots of things for kids to do. Hot tub set at 100, a bit too cool for us. Need salt and pepper shakers. Maybe a list of what we could have recycled besides bottles and cans. Really nice. Would recommend to a small family.

The house was very welcoming and sunny. With some communication prior to arrival, the host was able to accommodate all 4 of us in this moderate space. I wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor space which included a hot tub and was as large as the inside of the house. The neighborhood was very quiet, and we had no issues with parking or finding the home. We did take advantage of the home's proximity to the beach (5 minutes) and took a long morning walk before our departure.

My family of 4 (plus dog) enjoyed many aspects of this home. However, two major inaccuracies in the listing are worth mentioning. 1. It is listed as 2 bedroom, but is definitely a 1 bedroom with a second bed in the living room. This was a surprise to us when we arrived, as the photos and listing suggested 2 bedrooms, and anyone who has traveled with young kids knows the difference between being able to put kids to bed in a closed door bedroom, vs the living room. This meant everyone had to essentially go to bed and wake up at the same time (not ideal).2. There is an additional rental property on site with other guests that share entryway, laundry, trash. I wish this had been mentioned in the listing, since we often worried about our kids disturbing the other guests, and my understanding of VRBO had been that you got the entire property.Aside from this, the home was beautiful, well-stocked, with lots of natural light. The yard was great for kids with a trampoline and hot tub. There is no AC, but opening the windows during the day kept the temperature between 60-80 degrees. The location was wonderful, a short walk to the beach, we loved Venus Pie Trap for morning coffee and pastries, and Nisene Marks Forest was just a few minute’s drive.Host was responsive, neighborhood felt very safe, and Aptos was a wonderful place to visit.
