We had a great stay here for the month of September. The house is only a half mile to the beach so we easily walked there daily in the morning and often again for the sunset. There is a little coffee shop, restaurant, deli and market right at the beach.
The house itself was great. We used the office area and also set up in the bunk room for two work from home areas. The garden was nice for outdoor lunches and there is a grill there as well. The kitchen is adequate- small, but very workable. Plenty of bathroom space, especially with the extra beach bathroom.
The thing that sets this unit apart is the wonderful hospitality of the owners. They were so responsive and made everything so easy. They also left a lovely welcome basket.
We highly recommend and will look to stay again next year.

Clean and cozy beach house. Very well appointed and just a few blocks from the beach. Nice decks for spending time on, and laundry facilities available, as well as beach chairs, boogie boards, games, books, an office nook, and wet bar, and even a guitar!
Parking is a little tricky and the street is a bit busy because this is a popular area! Take a short walk to the beach or to Seacliff State Park.
Very short drive to grocery stores, nice restaurants, and easy access to the freeway.

This is one of the best rental experiences my wife and I have ever experienced. The family is so lovely to work with and they are so sweet and accommodating. We are a local Santa Cruz couple and we’re in the process of remodeling our home and of course due to the contractor issues it took longer; so we extended our stay six weeks. The owners were so accommodating to us, and so sensitive and compassionate. We loved living here and we loved spending our holidays here as well. The home has everything we needed and more; the bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our adult children when they came to visit. We walked the beach every single morning, and every single night for the sunset. The neighbors are very nice and we felt safe in the neighborhood. There is the vacation rental behind the home and people came and went; but for the most part they were fine.
It was a wonderful and ideal home to live for us for four months. We’ve even decorated with winter solstice lights and a tree because we were there over the holidays. It made me wish we had bought a home walkable near the beach in Aptos. We were lucky enough to live there before we lost the Sea Cliff Pier and so I have lots of photos that I took of sunsets with the pier.
The communication with the owners were spot excellent. The family is people that we would like to be friends with.The home is lovely and has a sweet charm to it and the wi fi was great. Great front porch.

Fabulous location near to beach, golf and restaurants. Fully equipped and clean house with BBQ. Internet connection was very good and linking TV to streaming services was easy and seamless.
