Wonderful location with a beautiful view. The house was well laid out and the kitchen well equipped. We had a wonderful stay and would book again if we have the occasion.

Great place! We really enjoyed our stay at The Mermaid's Perch! It's a great condo in Rio Del Mar. It has a carport with two spots and visitor parking out front.Two bedrooms (king & two twins) and a nice bathroom with shower on ground floor. Upstairs is the kitchen, living room and third bedroom (queen) with another bathroom. Wonderful views from the deck!!Fully equipped kitchen but bring your own spices. No Keurig but a very nice coffee maker. It sits high above the beach. It's a short walk down but quite steep. Walking back could be difficult for older people. Nice gas bbq. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing! Non-stop beach views. Listen to the ocean all day and all night. Beautiful, perfect sunsets every evening. Every room has mermaid accents; adorable, but not tacky. The kitchen was fully stocked, with high end appliances. Open all the windows and sliders if its warm, turn on the fireplace if its cold. This place has everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. I will be returning to this little gem.

The location and view were stupendous. Beds were very comfortable. A lot of high-end things, i.e. Viking range/oven, although not a lot of pots and pans
This is not a large place. More than 4 people would be really pushing it.
Biggest problem was the lack of WiFi. The last two day we all used cellular data.
Be aware there is NO table you can eat at or work on. There is a peninsula that is cramped, low, with almost no knee room. We did find an old card table downstairs, but three of the four legs have been bent/ broken. You have to be really careful to not dump it.
If stairs are an problem, be aware that at the top there is no handrail where it makes a turn.
