Beautiful property with stunning period decor. Lovely breakfast and great location. Hosts were very friendly.

The rooms were beautiful and the house was a stunning period piece. The hosts were warm and friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

A large house in the centre of Arras with a peaceful garden/courtyard surrounded by a high walll and therefore exceedingly quiet. The inside of the house is a very pleasant period time-piece. The owner and his wife were welcoming and helpful.

Magnificent, grand historic building with beautiful interiors and great attention to detail. Very welcoming hosts who know the art of being attentive when necessary and withdrawing when a guest requires privacy. Good location for walking into the marvellous squares of the city.
Only a slight niggle was the parking. We have a low slung car and manoeuvring through the gates off the road was a bit tricky. Apart from that all great.

The building is beautiful, tastefully furnished in the period of the property but the bathroom fittings are modern, eg a walk in shower with excellent water pressure. Both the room and bathroom were incredibly spacious. The bed was comfy with a choice of pillows. There is secure parking which is a bonus when you have a fully packed car. The city centre is easily accessible on foot. Isabel and Jean-Luc are very pleasant and helpful. Jean-Luc gave us three restaurant recommendations, two of which we tried and both were good. Breakfast was of high quality with nice little touches like homemade cake and jam and freshly squeezed orange juice. The room had a kettle and a Nespresso machine. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
My only small criticism was the lack of healthier choices at breakfast. It would have been nice to have some cereal (muesli or granola say) and an egg.

Amazing property. As soon as the gate opens there is a sense of calm and peacefulness within the garden walls. We were able to sit in the deckchair after a long journey and it was very relaxing . Beautiful bedroom and huge shower in our bathroom . Secure car parking which was great . Sincere and welcoming and only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Arras .. and breakfast was delicious too .

This classic French townhouse has been lovingly and painstakingly restored by the hosts including period style furnishings and decor. It is an exceptional property and has to be one of, if not the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed in in France - and we've stayed in many over the last 40 years! The bedroom and en-suite shower room were well appointed and the bed was particularly comfortable.
Breakfast was served in one of the beautifully appointed reception rooms and comprised typical breads and pastries accompanied by fruit juices, homemade jams and locally produced yoghurts and cheese.
Our hosts were delightful and spoke very good English, in defiance of us wishing to practise our French!
Ample secure parking was available within the courtyard and it is a reasonably short walk to the town centre.
Nothing, apart from the mosquitoes, but then we foolishly slept with the windows open!

An absolutely beautiful property in the centre of Arras. Sympathetically refurbished, beautifully decorated and furnished. Very enjoyable breakfast provided.
Period property so no air conditioning. Not an issue in itself if you can open the windows to aid ventilation in the summer (end July stay) but there is a significant mosquito issue, (potentially from the garden pond which did not appear best maintained) so windows must be kept closed. We were bitten a lot the first of a two night stay with a window ajar. We were not expecting a mosquito issue with the property located within the city centre and were not made aware of the mosquito problem on arrival. We were only told a plug - in mosquito repellant was available (so the mosquito issue was known) in a drawer the following morning on complaining. Ventilation therefore was poor and the older electric fan provided for our second night noisy, so I had a second poor night’s sleep. We’d recommend a modern, quiet appliance e.g. Dyson be made available for guests. The owners also insisted on plastic mattress covers being fitted. I’d taken it off the first night as I found it so uncomfortable but was expected to re-fit it following the owners check the following day! Consequences for me was therefore a poor nights sleep for the 2 nights of our stay - poor ventilation and a sweaty plastic mattress cover despite an additional cover being provided on top for the second night. So for me, guests are treated as young children on this matter. It’s a beautiful place and charges a corresponding fee but ultimately it provides 2 things, bed and breakfast with the bed aspect not well delivered in my opinion. We’d have had a real problem with sleep had we stayed longer than 2 night and were lucky I’d only a short drive to Calais the second morning. Businesses have insurance for the occasional mattress ‘accident’ so customer comfort appears secondary to maintaining an otherwise pristine property.

Breakfast was very good. The house was exceptional. Like walking into the 1700's. I would stay there for weeks. A great place to write a novel
A hot item for breakfast would have been nice. But the cold items were very good.

Great location, 10 minutes walk to the main square with plenty of restaurants. The room was very comfortable and beautifully clean. Lovely decorations and small touches to make the stay very comfortable. Parking was secure and breakfast was lovely. We only stayed one night so didn’t have a chance to use the garden but it looked lovely. Perfect hosts.

A stunning beautifully restored and maintained chateau. Home to a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. Walking distance to the two beautiful Flemish style squares, cathedral and restaurants. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again.

Beautifully restored 18 century property with every modern convenience, spotlessly clean, superb bathroom, spacious bedroom, crisp cotton sheets, a very comfy bed, secure off road parking and a wonderful breakfast with a selection of local cheeses and Isobel’s homemade jam which is the best we’ve ever had in France. There is a wide selection of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The hosts, Jean-Luc and Isobel could not have been more welcoming and are fluent English speakers.
Nothing at all.

Great location in Arras and having the parking is a real benefit. Breakfast with local and homemade produce a real bonus. Plenty of space and bed really comfy. If we return this way again 2-3nights would be great to see more around Arras from a central location.

Enchanting experience from start to finish. Beautiful old world mansion, tastefully furnished and exquisitely curated. Every aspect of my visit was imbued with charm and care, from arrival to breakfast to bike cleaning 😀. Bravo Jean-Luc and Isabelle!

Lovely property in Arras. Thank goodness that “no dogs” were allowed too, which was a huge bonus. Lovely gardens plus very friendly owners.
The property is behind huge black shutter doors and it need a sign outside to tell you which property is theirs.

Absolutely excellent in every thing about this beautiful house. The owners have put so much care into making this such a special place. The breakfast was excellent, with home made jams and cake. And locally sourced cheese.
The whole house was spotlessly clean.
A great location to explore Arras for a night or two, with an easy walk into the center.

What a stunning location. An exceptionally well appointed and maintained premises ideally located with only a 10 minute walk into Arras centre. The owners were absolutely delightful and took time to make us welcome. They served us with a brilliant breakfast and went into what they had provided. Some of the breakfast was locally produced and some, like the jams and cookies/cakes home made. All delicious.

Staying at the Entre Cour et Jardin was a great pleasure. The location was great but the home 10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This home is a must visit if you love heritage homes and antiques. The home dates back to 1754 and I am truly impressed and at a loss for words. I highly recommend and wish only that we had more time. Jean Luc and his wife were always available to answer questions but never intrusive just the right amount of presents. I hope that we get to visit this beautiful home and town again. Merci 🙏
