The Lodi Hill House was cozy, comfortable and everything I had hoped it would be.

The Lodi Hill House met and exceeded my expectations. The contact person, Jane, was so helpful. I texted her when I arrived and she came right up to let me in. She showed me around and gave me the layout of the house and gave me a little history of it. The inside is like stepping back in time. The woodwork and furniture were beautiful. I stayed in the Daisy room and it was cozy. The bed was really comfortable with clean, white sheets and big pillows. Robes, towels and bottled water in the closet. It felt just like I was staying the night at my grandma's house again. I fully recommend staying here and I will definitely be coming back to stay here again.

I slept like a baby. A solid 10 hours! The black out shades were amazing! Great location. Huge bathroom. The space was very well thought out. Obviously, a very comfortable bed!

This lodging is perfect for attending Lodi events as a vendor. It is spotless, easy communication with host, great price, easy in/out, perfect location for downtown and fairgrounds. Lovely interesting and genuine Victorian decor. I highly recommend!

A beautiful vintage home, that takes you back in time to the 1900’s

I loved the old book cases, the hand made furniture throughout the home, the staircase, and luxurious wood carvings in each doorway and entry way. It’s a lovely vintage home. We felt like we went back in time to the early 1900’s.

A step back in time with all the modern touches.

Beautiful accommodations! Super clean that had a lot of character. Jane walked us through the complex and we had total access to everything in the kitchen, study, WiFi and a shower with so much water pressure ... we just loved it and look forward to going back again.

My wife likes to relax with the TV on. Our room "Daisy" did not have one. Other than no TV (which it did not bother me because I had her attention), I just loved it.

Beautiful Victorian home that is truly a memorable experience!

Beds were comfortable, staff was INCREDIBLY helpful, the home was stunning well kept and a piece of history. It was fun staying here. Great access to the city of Lodi and walking distance from fun shops and restaurants. For the right clientele, this is a gem. Maybe a tad pricey in the end for the shared bath situation, but still a fun experience.

Shared bathroom was the only negative. I missed that in the fine print while booking so was a bit of a surprise. If it was just me, no problem. I was traveling with my pregnant wife however, so probably would have booked elsewhere had I known. Not their fault, my mistake.

Authentic Victorian with one of a kind details and just a 15 minute walk to Oldtown Lodi.

This place is the real deal. Not only are the antique aspects of this Victorian "Hill House" exquisitely made, they were actually crafted by the patriarch of the Hill family, George Washington Hill. I'm not much of a history buff, but being inside this gem left me awestruck with the historic authenticity. Reading a book on the back porch as the sun rises is a pleasure. Bring the proprietor some chocolates and maybe you'll get a firsthand accounting of the history of the house and the family that inhabited it.

This was a very unique stay at a fair price.

Very unique one of a kind stay, like none other .Very old Victorian house. This house was put together like a museum, based around a man's life business and his family .

The breakfasts' were marvelous!!! Kindness and meaningful smiles. I bet others dig that soft bed. Every thing else was tip top and did i mention how wonderful those breakfasts' were?

Mentioned above about that soft bed. I have a bad back, as in damaged. That soft soft bed wretched my wretched back for four days.

Beautiful, historical, bed and breakfast 10+

Everything....communication, location, accommodations, food.... amazing! Jane is an amazing hostess and was so accommodating. Bedroom is warm and inviting with fresh flowers on the bookcase. Bathroom is large... great water pressure! I had a bizarre schedule & Jane went above and beyond to make sure I had a tasty breakfast on Friday morning and at 3am on Saturday before having to catch a flight out of Sacramento!

Enchanting bed and breakfast with a wonderful host.

Jane was a fantastic host. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even cooked a special keto breakfast for us! (delicious veggie kiche, natural yogurts, low-sugar juices, berries, etc.). The house is out of this world. A true jewelry that Jane preserves to date. Jack and I were able to use the record player, play the piano, and had a wonderful night at our period decorated bedroom. This is a place I would totally recommend and where I would certainly be back. Thank you for a great stay!

I do not really have many suggestions regarding things to improve. It is an older building and so the sound from the exterior could be a little distracting at night. Besides that, we loved our time at Lodi Hill House.

In a time that most stays make you feel like you are living in a Barracks, This was like coming home

The Breakfast was unexpected. I have been staying in nmany Hotels recently because of work that offer Breakfast and frequently the best is a Breakfast Bar or Bagel. At this location I had fresh Coffee, Anassortment of fruit including berries with two types of Yogurt. There was two types of English Muffins with four types of Jams. She also made me a plate of Persimmon Cookies.

I wished I could of slept in and enjoyed the morning.
