No T.V. they lied about fixing it, Ran out of hot water when taking shower, bugs in bath room, dirty tub, electric cords running by heater and almost fell, sofa old with burn holes in it, Dirty hall way carpet with spots all over them, dirty elevator and young gentleman who tried to fix T.V. lied about manager coming in on Sunday morning. Don't stay there...............

Where do I start…. The hotel has a very dirty appearance floors & walls. Inside & out. No protein (eggs or meat) for breakfast, only cereal, bread , bagels & waffles. Air conditioning in room smells like mold. Shower had a bad faucet leak, also hot water comes & goes during your shower.

We checked in at 7pm and checked out at 8. Hot day, hot room, gross floor, faulty AC.

The price and location initially seemed decent. The size of the room was much bigger than we expected.

The AC would not turn on when we arrived. It was a 90 degree day and must have been at least 80 in the room. Hotel staff were not helpful. After 2 calls to the front desk I had to go down to deal with the problem. The clerk was sitting on his butt on his phone after we had waited at least 20 minutes after he said he'd be up to fix the problem. After he got the AC running it was soon turning itself off and on again. He did not offer another room. The room had also not been cleaned completely. We did not want to take our shoes off. Next to the bed, on the hard wood floors, was dried drips. (There were also face prints at the head of the bed on the headboard mirror.) I'm pretty sure the possibility this was someone's bodily fluids is very high. Cigerette burns on sofa.

Offers breakfast, bed slept okay. The morning of my checkout, a small roach come out of the bathroom sink, there was a cork screw on the floor on the side of the bed, the floor was super sticky by the trash can so clearly the room has not been swept or mopped, the sink sprayed everywhere in the little kitchenette, the tub was disgusting.

Be more honest with long term guest.

During the weeks I stayed, I was lied to about laundry service. Was told it would be working in a couple of days and I stayed two and half weeks. Had to go to Lodi for laundry so decided to get a room there. A little further away from the job but made up for it with more accommodation(food laundry,entertainment….). Staff was friendly enough but should have been truthful about their laundry not working nor their hotel across the street laundry not working.

I will never stay at a Microtel again.

The air conditioner worked.

Everything else. The door key did not work, had to go back down to front desk twice and then wait 10 minutes for them to fix it. Shower was barely warm water. remote to t.v did not work correctly, and front desk would not answer phone. This is the second worse hotel I have ever stayed at, beaten only by the place that had confetti all over the floor.

I liked the location because of things nearby.

The tv remote and tv ( direct tv) didn’t work at all. there were no soaps, or shampoo in the bathrooms. Also the lighting was weird bc there were no lamps just overhead lights. The bathroom was huge and decent but the ro itself felt cramped.

Run Away - Don't Walk. Awful motel.

Not much. Location was decent. Towels and linens were good.

I made the cardinal mistake and looked at the "average" rating only and didn't read the reviews. The negative reviews are completely accurate. There are 5 star reviews that we can only imagine are fake.. The only thing not experienced were the drug deals seen happening outside. I hate leaving negative reviews but this place is ridiculous - and cost over $100 for one night for a room with two awful beds. Everything dirty - lobby, hallways, room. Sticky floors around beds. Actively growing mold on ceiling and in tub. Light switch for bed on opposite side of room. Overhead flourescent "reading" light high above beds - not lamps. Mattresses and box springs only- not even headboard. Beds squeak loudly and are extremely uncomfortable- husband described as feeling like layers of cardboard on concrete. He checked carefully for bed bugs but didn't see evidence of that. Clerk checking us in did not return drivers license. Had to go get it later.
