We had a great stay at this house. Tim was wonderful to work with. When we arrived his wife was there to let us in and show us around. The house is extremely clean! The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we made many meals there. Central A/C was wonderful to have as well. The house is prime location literally across the street from the beach and walking distance to coffee, restaurants, the pier. Oceanside is known for the trains so if you have never visited before be aware this house is right in front of the tracks so you will hear trains constantly. But we like that - we are no stranger to Oceanside but some trains will literally rock the house. Didn't bother us any.My only feedback for the owner is some of the décor could be a little scary for small kids, my son didn't like the "monster/ devil heads on the wall" - house is decorated with a lot of Eastern Hindu type décor. fyi

The property was great, worked for our family. But obviously being 3 stories there are a lot of stairs. It was nice and close to the beach and the pier and lots of restaurants. The property was also really nice to provide plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards. Overall great stay.

We wanted to be close to the beach with good surfing, and really lucked out with this property. Just 50 yards from the beach, with views of the ocean -- and the surf break -- and we couldn't be happier.Tim, our host, made sure we were welcomed, and we were grateful for the well appointed nature of this home. It is as big as others describe, with plenty of room for a large family. In our case, we were only 4, so we really had the ability to relax.The kitchen has very nice appointments and appliances, and all worked well -- so we were able to cook and enjoy the home. That said, the home is only two blocks from Oceanside's downtown, so many nights we simply walked to the restaurants nearby and fully enjoyed.This was a great find in Oceanside, and we'd gladly return again in the future. Thanks to Tim and team for making our stay great.
