Located on the second floor of the High Cotton Marketplace, enjoy a panoramic view of the river and one of the few remaining working waterfronts on the Gulf Coast from a private, semi-covered veranda. Built in 2005, the High Cotton Marketplace is a small, mixed-use development of retail and residential condo units designed to blend with historic Apalachicola.
Decorated in a unique blend of contemporary and coastal cottage furnishings with an emphasis on comfort, featuring hand-picked, one-of-a-kind artwork. With 9' ceilings, crown molding, soothing colors, relax in 1,500 square feet of well designed, comfortable space, with a spa like feel. The veranda is 30' x 10'.
Walk to top-rated restaurants, galleries, boutiques, and museums. The Bay Queen features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances, or walk downstairs to Café Con Leche for your fresh hot coffee.
A flat screen HDTV can be viewed from anywhere in the oversized great room with its wall of windows. Sony Micro HiFi shelf system with iPod (MP3) connection and CD player. Wireless Internet, full sized washer & dryer, oversized spa-tub in master bath, private elevator. Beach gear & bikes included.

This is the cutest place! The description of everything: rooms, amenities was spot on! We attended a wedding at the Appalachicola Ice Company. You could see the event hall from the balcony. Really loved the private elevator because my husband had back surgery. Very clean. Comfortable couch. Manager was very nice. Beautiful view. Really enjoyed it! I would put this on my "Places to Revisit" list.

A fabulous location in "downtown" Apalachicola. Quite close to several of our favorite restaurants and shops. Two bedroom, two full baths - good size with plenty of room. Nice full kitchen and views to the river. I would recommend Bay Queen or stay there again.

I did not like the fact that for 200+ a night had to be a housekeeper.
