About this house rental

This house is a true adobe craftsman bungalow, built in 1912 and is part of the Silver Hill Historic district. Come stay and discover the character and charm that this old home offers. The location is great, there are a number of good restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The house has been split into 2 completely separate units, this is unit A and is the front part of the house.

This is an older home, and has great charm and character but it also comes with the creaks and cracks that occur over time.

Bathroom is located off the master bedroom

There is a small 1 car garage, but it is an older building.
Garage dimensions: 5'9" tall, 10'6" wide, 16'5" deep

Trash - city cans for trash & recycling for both units are located on the west side of the house. You get to them by going through the gate on the west side of the house (walk outside and turn left)

Home is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to keep it spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug (specifically sugar ants). Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking.

Part Silver Hill Historic District, a neighborhood in southeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is significant as one of the oldest developments on the city's East Mesa. Much of the neighborhood is included in the Silver Hill Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

We were attending an alumni event at UNM. This was the perfect location to walk to campus and down Central. Quiet and comfortable.

Great location, welcoming, and New Mexico ambiance. Enjoyed eating at The Frontier Restaurant nearby. Appreciated the car garage.

Property was older than looked in pics . Bars on all doors . Neighborhood seemed a little seedy. Although near Central Ave . We didn’t feel we could walk at night . But host was responsive when asked her questions.
