We really loved our stay at TSUGU Kyoto. Set in a beautifully restored historical building, the hotel combines its heritage with thoughtful, contemporary design. Our room was surprisingly spacious, beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was another highlight, with excellent coffee and delicious freshly baked bread. A beautifully considered hotel with a distinctive character, and one we would happily return to.

Cool trendy hotel. Simple and super central. Loved the location. the room had high ceileng and good space. But the bed linen was itchy. It was no bugs, but just sitting on the bed made my skin react to the linen. Was very strange, have not happend to me in other hotels in Kyoto. Early checkout was a minus.

Hey Siri, super convenient for multiple subway lines. It’s close to great shopping and food. There’s many things to do like making your own chopsticks a samurai Museum or the 10,000 Tori Gates and MORE! We all loved The bunkbeds. The shower and tub room was cleaned as well as the bidet. They have luggage storage and communal area to eat or refill water or just relax
