About this house rental
In The Woods feels like an oasis conveniently situated on 10 wooded acres. If you are looking for a quiet serene location without giving up convenience of places nearby, you’ve arrived! Guests can now relax on the new patio. Only 5 minutes to explore downtown Eau Claire's shops, restaurants, and much more. Just a few minute drive to Mayo and Oak Leaf. Bring your bike, trails are right around the corner.
We have a pet free, smoke free home to welcome guests with allergies.

The living room is furnished with comfortable furniture, high speed internet (WiFi), Smart TV, Satellite, Blu-ray DVD player, games and a small library.
Kitchen
Create your favorite meal in a fully-stocked kitchen. i.e. a slow cooker, mixer, blender, dutch oven, pots and pans and more! Keurig and traditional coffee maker, coffee grinder, french press and tea pot. We offer a variety of coffee and Keurig pods.
Bedrooms
Two bedrooms have queen beds with down comforters (seasonal), king size pillows. The third bedroom/office has a twin XL bed suitable for an adult.
Bathroom
The linen closet consists of bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hair dryer, first aid kit along with space for personal items.
Basement
Guests laundry area washer and dryer. Designated area holds a large movie library, games, and books.
Patio off the kitchen suitable for 5 guests.

For everyone's protection, exterior-only 24/7 video monitoring is in place clearly posted on the property.

Paul and Anita ensured that everything was satisfactory. This was my 2nd visit and I enjoyed it very much. Comfortable, clean, and quiet.

The rental is very well appointed and maintained. The owners have thought of everything and we were comfortable there. I reserved months in advance to stay for around a week and then extended my rental to stay 12 days. We were visiting family. At the time of extending they insisted the other person in my party who wanted to join us for the first portion of the trip (my brother) not reserve for the additional days and said I had to extend my reservation to the 12 days. No problem. We had 4-5 people in our party at all times per the rules, which I explained to them. The owners were very difficult to deal with - told me multiple times that they were “very concerned” about me staying at the property, were rude in their communications on the app, called me at 5:40 in the morning when my brother arrived in the rental the night before I did and accused me of strangers being in their home, sent me messages and left notes on the property stating that the neighbors would be watching me. Mind you, I’m an almost 50 year old mom of two teens who drives a gray minivan and owns my own almost million dollar home - I have no idea why or how I was such a problem. We had one maintenance issue - they messaged me a 7am that they would arrive at 7:30am that day. A bit abrupt when you’re on vacation. They woke up my kids when they came in. Great rental, but my interactions with the owners totally ruined it for me. No idea how they have all 5 star reviews.
