About this apartment rental

Der Steiermark is on the Blue River on the north side of Park Ave. It sits about half a block from Main Street on the ski resort side. Most parts of the south end of Main Street are comfortably within walking distance as is the Peak 9 base. Restaurants and grocery are readily available and parking is in the indoor, basement garage. A hot-tub in the courtyard can help to sooth aching muscles after a full day of skiing. The heated, concrete driveway from Park Ave. to the basement garage is navigable even in the coldest days of winter.

We loved our stay in Breckenridge at this condo! The location was perfect! We could just walk right across the bridge onto Main Street. The loft was huge and was perfect for my kids to stay up there! The kitchen was very well stocked and was great for making our Christmas meals! Great communication regarding the booking! We really enjoyed our stay!!

Everything you need for a proper visit to Breckenridge. Ideally located. Short walk across the street to Breckenridge mountain. Bars, restaurants, shops right out the front or back door of building. There is even a great Mexican restaurant on first floor of condo building. Parking was easy and within a garage in basement with elevator access. Host was extremely helpful and available via text/email. I visited with 4 guys (29-32 yo) and it was exactly what we needed. That being said this is not a fancy 4 star resort so don’t expect that. Some non essential items are a little dated but were fine for us. There is only 1 bedroom, other sleeping area is a loft which lacks any sound barrier from downstairs. Open kitchen to cook while others hang out at island in kitchen, on couch or on balcony. Highly recommend if you want convenience, good price and not expecting St Regis style accommodations.

Some rentals come with all the bells and whistles, and their prices reflect that! This unit provides a delightful home in the mountains, but with no more than you need. The beds are comfortable, though the sheets are a bit rough. The leather couch is a little worn, but since it's leather, it still looks great and cleans well. The kitchen is small, but adequate. The coin operated laundry room is conveniently close to the unit, and it was easy to find the machines available for use. They cost $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry, payable in quarters. We have previously stayed at the Der Steiermark condo building in another unit. We like this unit the best because of the views from the living room. We looked out at all the holiday lights going down main street, and watched the comings and goings of the patrons of Ollie's Restaurant and Bar. My fiance does the skiing, and this location is across the street from the Quicksilver lift. We love having parking in the garage beneath the building. We also enjoyed the convenience of having firewood stored in the warm, dry garage. It felt very festive having a fire burning brightly on the cold December nights. Proximity to Main Street made it easy to go shopping for Christmas gifts and to walk to restaurants. As a Denver local who has visited many short term rentals in Summit County, I have found a few gems. This condo is one of them. and we hope to stay here again when we have another ski weekend for two.
