Second time renting this unit. First time I rented solo and this year I brought my son along. The place was very clean upon arrival and the unit was well stocked with coffee supplies. The efficient kitchen was perfect for the only cooking I did -- breakfast before skiing. The mexican place on the ground floor of the unit is a great happy hour / Apres ski spot. My son enjoyed the memory foam mattress on the sofa bed and the upstairs bed was very comfortable.

The below is not a comment about the unit rather my experience & observations from my two ski seasons. Hoping to help others out.
For skiing, my recommendation is to walk to "maggies" and put your boots on outside Maggies. This way you are not making the walk across the road and through the village in your ski boots. Not as much an issue in the AM, but after a 5+ hr day on the slopes the walk back is worse. Unfortunately, in the last year, Vail Resorts has blocked "under the bench" storage of your bag/shoes and want you to pay $23/day for a locker. I still found a place to stash my bag b/c the locker kiosks were not working and I would've argued if they tried to charge me to get my stuff back from "lost & found" as the posted signs say.

This was the perfect sized condo for the two of us. We wanted to be close to Main Street to occasionally grab a bite to eat and enjoy the night life. It's also a short walk to the infamous Izak Heartstone artwork. The condo was nicely decorated, very clean, and well-stocked with coffee (and a couple of different ways to make the coffee), tea, salt, pepper (and a few things to eat as well), wine glasses, cookware, etc.--everything you need to take advantage of a kitchen for the times we didn't want to eat out. We didn't take advantage of the wood fireplace but I can see how that would be cozy in the winter. The balcony was just the right size for a glass of wine, a good book, some people-watching, and to view the nearby changing aspen. It was just a tad chilly out on the balcony so we draped our knees with one of the throws available in the condo--perfect!! We had a very enjoyable stay!! P.S. I would recommend this for folks who are very stable and fit. The stairs up to the loft could be a little hard to navigate if you don't feel like your balance is great. However, you can always use the foldout sofa on the main floor!

My wife and I were in town for the weekend and we loved it. It's a great deal to have such a good location right off Main Street. You hear the river in the background when you open a window. It's a little cozy as it mentions but it met our needs.

Superb little condo. Clean and well taken care of, this spot is the most convenient and central in town. Balcony overlooks blue river and you’re steps away from main. Winter or summer - tons to do. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
