Homely, comfortable & luxurious

Loved the house, the layout, decor and attention to detail (milk in the fridge, little chocolates/sweets around the place, and a guided tour by the host on how to use everything) was amazing. It felt luxurious and yet so homely, the perfect combination. And even better, the host provided a detailed overview of the area and recommendations for food/walks!

Great stay and beautiful place

My parents and I had such a wonderful stay here! The property STUNNING, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was great next to the beautiful loch while still having Mountain Views. The host had great tips and was so welcoming! I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay again in the future!

A lovely place to share with adult family.

Good location, next to a road with fast moving vehicles but we quickly adapted to that when asleep and an easy walk via a quiet road to the Loch and so well placed to explore other parts of the area. Lovely interior and helpful items.

Beautiful property with beautiful views.

The best kitchen I have ever seen in a property with an aga oven, proving draw, filtered water, coffee machine and so many extras such as teabags/hot chocolate etc. Lovely style bathroom and shower.

Slightly too firm of a mattress in front bedroom for us, a larger sofa to lounge on as chairs were slightly more formal.

The proximity to the A road meant some noise creeped in during early mornings. This was largely mitigated by earplugs.

The property was exceptional me and my partner loved the place we even tried to book an extra day but it was fully booked and no wonder it is in a beautiful location and made our stay so much better would highly recommend this to anyone that’s looking to stay up in Glencoe.

Excellent, exceptionally clean and modern well equipped and thoughtful touches such as fresh milk in the fridge ready for a refreshing brew as soon as we arrived. The host Tony was very helpful and not only recommended a place to eat but also reserved us a table.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! Tony was warm and welcoming, and his recommendations of places to eat didn't disappoint. Great value for money. Loved the little extra touches such as the local fresh milk and the chocolates. Well equipped kitchen, especially loved the coffee machine with well stocked pods and biscuits. Bathroom was amazing, luxury bath towels and toiletries! We loved the design of the barn door on the bathroom, however and this is extremely nit picking...due to sharing with friends a lock may have been beneficial. Great patio area leading straight out from the dining area with spectacular views, not to mention sunsets. For a holiday rental it was decorated to a very high standard and exceeded all our expectations

The house was perfect. It had everything you needed and more. very clean, comfortable and a perfect location for travelling to different locations. we will definitely be back. Tony the owner was there to welcome us and ran through everything in the house and where things were.

Exceptional lakeside accommodation on the doorstep of adventure

The morning of our stay, the host was in contact to provide check-in information. Upon arrival, we were met by the most pleasant couple to give us our keys and show us around our accommodation. The house was in exceptional shape, very clean with all of the amenities we could need (toiletries, washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, TV equipped with various streaming services, and even a Nespresso machine!). All of the beds were very comfortable and the family room was warm and inviting, with an electric fireplace that made it all the more cozy. The kitchen was amazing and worked well for us to make breakfast the next morning! The house was about a 10 minute walk from Ballachulish, where we were able to pick up a few bits from the Co-Op and had a delicious meal at Laroch Restaurant and Bar (recommended to us by our hosts). Just a stone's throw away from Loch Leven and a short drive from Glencoe for hiking, the location is amazing as well!

Wish we would have decided to stay more than one night! We would definitely return to this property, for longer next time.

Cosy stay

Le logement est parfait pour 4 personnes, décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Très agréable à vivre, avec une ambiance cosy et cocooning. Le mobilier, la décoration et les équipements sont de grande qualité. Ce lieu donne clairement envie d’y revenir, idéal pour y séjourner plusieurs nuits et en profiter pleinement plutôt que d’être constamment à l’extérieur

Aucune flexibilité concernant le check-in et le check-out. Arrivée à 16h (très tard, surtout en automne/hiver quand la nuit tombe tôt) et départ à 10h. Pour une nuit, on a à peine le temps d’en profiter, juste de dormir avant de repartir. Le propriétaire était sympathique mais son attitude à notre arrivée était un peu étrange : lors de la visite, il insistait à plusieurs reprises sur le fait que nous pouvions annuler si cela ne nous plaisait pas, sans que l’on comprenne vraiment pourquoi. Cela a créé un certain malaise et un accueil peu chaleureux. Mis à part ces points, tout le reste était très bien.

Gemütlicher Luxus

Das Haus war wirklich sehr gemütlich mit super viel Platz für 4 Personen, alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dekoriert, wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es gab eine tolle große Küche, alle Geräte nur vom Feinsten, da macht das Kochen sogar im Urlaub Spaß!. Die Waschmaschine mit integriertem Trockner ist sehr praktisch. Die Betten waren mega bequem.

Die Hauptverbindungsstrasse durch das Tal von Glencoe führt direkt am Haus vorbei, dadurch ist es relativ laut. Zum Glück war nachts wenig Verkehr. Die Bucht ist nicht ganz so idyllisch wie erwartet, es liegen ein paar alte Schiffe (Wracks?) direkt vor dem Haus. Im kleineren Schlafzimmer war das Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Mit etwas mehr Geschirr und Besteck wäre die Küche noch perfekter.

Alles is heel mooi ingericht, met aandacht voor details. Alles klopt. Het huis is heel comfortabel. Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin is fenomenaal. Everything is beautifully decorated, with attention to detail. Everything is perfect. The house is very comfortable. The view from the garden is phenomenal.

De weg langs het huis is overdag druk maar na 7pm is het rustig. The road along the house is quite busy but after 7pm it is quiet.
