WECOZY HANOI - Railway Side, The Old Quarter

All I can say is incredible. Accommodations in the old quarter of Ha Noi are plentiful. And I hit the jackpot with Wecozy. The staff are outstanding. Responsive. Proactive at communicating. Accommodating @ airport transfers. And ambassadors of Ha Noi including providing plenty of recommendations on things to do. Places to see. Experiences to have. And dining. Speaking of dining, there is an amazing vegan/vegetarian food. Only! Not in addition to other options. Even if you eat meat, you will love her food. While my room was on the side of the railway, barely heard or felt it. It’s a great location. Pedestrian & motorbike only street. So no car traffic! I walked 16km one of the days I was there and it was super easy to get around and back to the property. Highly recommend Wecozy. The room was everything I wanted & nothing I didn’t need. Snd another shoutout to the incredible staff!

Location is quite Central and very convenient to the Old quarter and the nightlife. The building also has a lift and modern facilities giving a good vibe from a stay perspective. Aircon was I believe kept on before we arrived to ensure we entered a cool room.

The customer service felt extremely commercial with what felt like a money focus first rather than people focus. I understand that tourists are important for monetary returns however it made it feel like a very pay to play vibe. There was evidence of water damage on the ceiling. We asked for a late check out and were asked to pay 50% of the fee which is cool - but no more than 3 hours allowed which seemed a bit overkill and no receipt was also provided. The male staff at the counter sternly told us to not keep the door open next time - however it was his colleague who kept it open as we had decent amount of luggage. Airport transfer they suggested was 30% more expensive than pre-booking a GRAB taxi. Also - I do think they need to advertise clearly that no cars can enter the lane, and you are responsible for dragging luggage in, which wasn't fun in the heat.
