HYDE OUT - Waterfront view of Assateague Island

As always, this is our favorite place to stay on vacation. My husband and young children love this home so much and we really never have anything to worry about when we are there. The house is so clean, the owner is so responsive, and the house is on the most beautiful location. We will be back next year.

Very nice house with a beautiful view. Quiet area, but close enough to ocean city and assateague island.

We love the location and neighborhood of this house. We were able to see horses across the water using binoculars. There were many waterfowl and beautiful sunrises. The view is outstanding. The neighborhood is residential and quiet. The house had some quirks. We were greeted by a kitchen full of flies. Possibly someone before us had the door open. We also noticed other undesirable bugs and traps. Also, the water is hard and turned some of our whites brown during washing. Other minor issues: tub doesn’t hold water (plug doesn’t work), handle on outside door was broken until we fixed, bar stools are broken, cleaning was not thorough (old food wrappers under beds, etc). I enjoyed the collection of Chesapeake-related history as well as the decor on the walls related to the Chesapeake region. The owner was very communicative and responsive. I left a computer charger at the house by accident, and she said she would ship it back. I appreciate this kindness as well as the owner opening up the house to us as visitors. Overall despite the quirks we had a great vacation at the house. Thank you!
