About this house rental
You’ll love the Bamboo Garden House because of the natural, eco-friendly finishes, functional design, full kitchen, location, private off-street parking, and separation of space. BGH is close to public transportation, the city center and UO Campus (
Our space is designed and built specifically as a guest house. It is comfortably furnished and well-equipped. This home includes heating and air conditioning, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and linens, and eco-conscious finishes throughout. We have purposefully chosen a sofa-sleeper that is actually comfortable. It is a high-end sofa bed with an air spring mattress - no uncomfortable bar in your back!
Guests have access to their own private 915 square foot home, which includes one private, off-street parking space within a security gate. At check-in, you will be provided with access codes for the gate and entry into the home. A gate remote is available to you after check-in, as well.
We respect and value privacy ~ yours and ours. That being said, we are fully available to our guests to answer any questions or address any issues that arise during your stay. We are avid outdoor lovers and have suggestions for hikes, scenic drives, parks and the like. We have lived in Eugene for over 20 years and love to share about the reasons we love it here.
The Friendly Neighborhood features: Friendly Park, Madison Meadow, Friendly Street Market, Friendly Street Food Cart Pod, Farmer’s Union Coffee Roasters, Healthy Pet, Radiant Health (massage/sauna/acupuncture) + easy access to downtown Eugene, University of Oregon campus and Hayward Field. Nearby is Market of Choice (larger grocer), restaurants, and entertainment ~ within a 5 minute drive.
LTD bus stop is less than 3 blocks away. On-street parking, if needed, is under 1 block from the Bamboo Garden House. 20 minute walk to downtown.
Please note that the guest house has one exterior security camera.

The Bamboo Garden House was a wonderful place to stay in Eugene. It is spotless and well appointed. The hosts are attentive, friendly, and communicative. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Perfect guest house for my solo road trip up to Seattle to visit family. I was looking for a place with a secure parking spot and found this gem! Very quiet, safe, and clean. The A/C was great in the hot summer weather. Thank you for putting so much love and energy into the perfect guest house. My only regret is not checking out the rest of Eugene! I will need to have a proper visit next time. :)
