My stay at Garni la Vara was truly exceptional, and I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with care and attention. Roberto, the host, was especially helpful—he made the late self check-in process seamless and stress-free, which meant a lot after a long day of travel. What really stood out was his kindness and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. When the weather didn’t cooperate with our original trekking plans, Roberto went out of his way to check the forecast for us and recommended some beautiful alternative places to visit. Thanks to his suggestions, we were able to enjoy our time fully and discover hidden gems we might never have found on our own. His warm hospitality made all the difference, and I feel truly thankful for his support and guidance. Garni la Vara is not just a place to stay—it’s a welcoming home that I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable visit.

A great place to stay for visiting eastern Dolomites.

Roberto (the owner/host) is superb host. The best. He gave us great suggestions for hikes, made delicious scrambled eggs in the morning, was very helpful in every way. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is VERY convenient to many things. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Roberto is very friendly and helpful. He made some great suggestions on what to do and where to go. Breakfast was really good, homemade yoghurt and little cakes were great. Plenty of parking available. Room was clean and comfortable.

It was a friendly hotel with a really nice atmosphere.

It was a friendly hotel, close to Corvara centre and amenities. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable with information and advice about local walks and other things. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a great view from our balcony. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Thank you. We really liked it!

Magnificent place. Highly recommended

Everything was amazing- the personal attention from Roberto, who was incredibly willing to help with anything and everything, the high level of cleanliness and the excellent breakfast with farm fresh eggs made to order and homemade cakes were highlights. The ping-pong table, free bus tickets and central location we’re also awesome.

Booking.com should make 100/100 score system. I would like to give 100 points for this staying. Especially the host was very communicative. when i was check-in, He gave me some information about corvara with map. Every morning he make a breakfast for guests, the quality of meal was excellent. When i needed some help during travel i could text him and he always help me kindly. I was happy to stay here and I will book here when I travel Corvara and Dolomite again.

Nice place to stay, clean room, nice host. And the breakfast is perfect with home-made cake and adjusted according to your wishes. We first got a room at the quiet backside, but at the ground floor, which made the room dark and the view limited. When we asked he changed the room for one at the front with a small terrace.

The room was not too big, but when you are walking in the mountains all day it doesn't matter.
