We had an amazing time in Corvara and Hotel La Plaza was the ideal place for us.

Perfect location in Corvara. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Room of good size with nice balcony, and adequate facilities. Sauna / spa also much appreciated. Would happily return if back in the Dolomites.

Some of the admin was a little haphazard - e.g. a guest being given our key and entering our room was not ideal. Could have been more clearly signalled that the hotel doors are locked at night (a bit of a surprise when we returned from a wedding).

Nice old fashioned hotel located in Corvara. Service is great, and the breakfast buffet is good plus the waiters really helpful. Room really clean and spacious with a terrasse.

Wifi is not the best, plus unfortunately the hotel had a problem when I was there with there connection.

Good value hotel centrally in Corvara

Spacious rooms and comfortable beds, the beds are equipped with duvets (quilts) and not bed sheets which is common most places in Italy. The high altitude of the Corvara village make for pleasantly cool night time temperatures during summer so no AC is necessary.

Breakfast selection was a little on the small side but ok.

Nice place to be in mountain!

Beautiful view over the awesome Corvara mountain. I personally loved the 70s style of the hotel and obviously the terrace. Breakfast was very organized and abundant with everything. The staff were polite and respectful.

Perfect spot for a ski holiday

The hotel is a short walk to Boe and Col Alto ski lift, which we used everyday, and covers everywhere you could hope to ski. From Corvara it is also a 30min drive to Plan de Corones if you want a change. The hotel staff were lovely, and our room was very comfortable with a view of the mountains. The decor is a little retro. Some of the rooms are more neutral, and ours was fine. But the bathroom was a little old fashioned with pink and black tiles. But we knew to expect that.

We did a very last minute booking, and for what we wanted (somewhere close to ski lifts with a decent breakfast), it ticked all the boxes. There wasn't anything that we had issue with.
