Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric panel heaters and electricity (£20 per week). Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot. Decked veranda with garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note. There is an unfenced stream in the garden.. A cosy chalet bungalow, overlooking Asknish Bay, in the wee hamlet of Arduaine, with stunning views south and west over the islands of Shuna, Scarba and Jura. Climb the small hill behind the chalet for even more far-reaching views to Luing, the Garvellachs and beyond or just relax on the decked veranda and enjoy the magnificent sunsets. There’s a pub/restaurant at the nearby yacht marina, a walk of about 20 minutes along the coast road, or take a 10 minute stroll to the local hotel, with, arguably, the best views on the west coast of Scotland. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant ½ miles.

Beautiful place, very clean and well presented. Outstanding views from the front. We particularly enjoyed listening to the stream bubbling away at night. The owners were very friendly and helpful throughout the duration of our stay, providing us with lots of information about the surrounding area- there are numerous castles and historical sites within easy driving distance, and a lovely shale beach a minutes walk away from the house. 10/10 on all fronts and would certainly consider staying again. We wanted peace and quite, the road noise was no problem. We enjoyed our week with the dog. We were greated on arrival and asked if there was anything we needed. After that we were left alone (which is what we wanted) but could have spoken to the owners who lived next door. The old electric meter took old coins but there was sufficient for our needs and could have got more if we needed them. All together a pleasent visit.

Very well equipped cottage in a lovely rural location. Warm welcome from owners. It is some distance from any major town which was what we wanted. There is a wealth of history in the area and we enjoyed visiting the local museum at Kilmartin and nearby castles. While local facilities are limited there is an excellent pub/restaurant at Craobh Haven, less than two miles away.

lovely cottage, clean and cosy. Decking made it very special though with beautiful views and red squirrels and birds visiting. Owners were very friendly and helpful with ideas, and they stored our bikes under cover for us. Hotel with lovely views just down the road and a friendly pub nearby for meals.
