-Idyllic authentic location -pretty 4-person bungalows with good air con and nice seating in front of it -2 clean bathrooms per 4 persons = OUTSTANDING !!! -ideal for active travellers -favourable scooter rental directly from the host (helmets available) -Transfer from / to the boat offered to me by the host free of charge -Water + coffee 24/7 free of charge -Restaurants within walking distance -stable beds, comfy mattresses, mosquito net on request -Sleeping with the sounds of nature instead of scooter noise = HOLIDAY 😃 or even better: Longstay

The family that runs the Uma Hostel is absolutely amazing. They are friendly, helpful and fun. Every morning they make a good&simple breakfast (tea, toast with jam, fruits) which for us really made a nice difference. The place is really nice: perfect location to go towards all directions on the island, it's green, and it has 4 rooms of only 4 beds, which makes it really cosy and not too busy. If we come back to the island, without any doubt we will go back to Uma Hostel.

1. Clean beds and room 2. The property manager, Kadek, is extremely helpful. He look after you without you asking for it! He picks you up when you arrive and drop you off when you leave. He has local knowledge of the island and happy to answer any question you might have. 3. Great vibe from other travelers 4. Snorkeling tour organized from here is great! You will most likely get to see turtle, manta ray, and fishes! 5. If I get back to the island, I come straight to Uma hostel.

Superb

The service is very good, the homeowner will contact the dock to pick up and order a motorcycle for 60K per day, but the motorcycle has very little oil and needs to be refueled by yourself. The breakfast is very good, it would be perfect if you add a fried egg; the Wi-Fi works well;

No curtains, no hot water, which makes it impossible for me to stay longer

Uma was so nice! He picked me up from the port very last minute. He took me out for some drinks one evening and is always around for a chat.

There could have been a bit more to the breakfast. Ie some condiments for the toast (luckily I had my own peanut butter)

Bed lights, free Balinese coffee, toast, jam & fruit breakfast. Kadek (the host) collected me from the ferry and took me to various locations I requested then dropped me to the ferry on departure, really nice helpful guy 🙂

The advertised bar apparently closed due to covid and hasn't re-opened 😑

Quiet enjoyable Hostel

Everything! Made is one of the friendliest persons I have ever met. His family is lovely. He helps you with anything - getting a scooter, getting directions, getting a lift etc. the place is clean, quiet and you have a lot of space. Next time in Nusa Lembongan I will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful garden and huts, relaxed and calm vibe, and a very very lovely owner! The dorm rooms are great, super comfortable beds (with aircon!) and the room is cleaned every day. They also provide towels and free breakfast with coffee/tea, and scooter rental as well. Really amazing value for money, some of the best I’ve had during my travels!!

Great stay

The host was really welcoming and helpfull. He is giving a lot of information about where to go and what to do. Rooms are new, really clean and there is a bathroom every 2 person. Location is perfect, you can also rent a scooter direct at the hostel for a good price. Refill water bottle station is a plus

I have booked for two nights and I end up staying more. The place is really nice, quite, in the middle of nature. Rooms are spacious and very comfy (the dorm has 4 beds with 2 toilets). Location is perfect cause right in the middle between the town and mushroom bay. The owner is amazing and really helpful. As soon as I arrived he provided me a scooter for a good price compared to many places I have asked before. Anything you need he is really happy to help. I think is the best value for many hostel in Lembongan. Definitely recommend it!!!

its a good place to base yourself on Lembongan

- top location! easy to get anywhere - great hosts (pick up/ drop off service, help with luggage) - reliable communication - piece of fruit for breaky, access to drinking water, hot water for tea/ coffee

- very dark room with hardly any hooks or shelves to put your personal belongings - breakfast is toast plus jam only as well as some fruit

the hostel is very new and extremely clean. The owners are the nicest people ever and they honestly make the stay at this hostel amazing. My friend and I had some problems with these huge spiders that would show up after the shower and the owner killed them for us and bought us bug spray to keep them away. The breakfast is simple but very good and with a scooter in a few minutes you can reach all the main spots on the island.

The host Madei is really what makes this stay special and unique. As with all the Balinese people he too is very kind and generous but he goes above and beyond to treat his guests with extra hospitality. He always looked out and checked on me cause he knew I was scared to drive the scooter on the island. He took time and effort to pick me up and drop me off not expecting any payment. But the thing I appreciated the most was that he took the effort to teach me to ride a scooter which was just soo so sweet. He was so patient and attentive. He showed me the best places on the island. Madei and his wife and really kind and lovely people. I will always remember my stay with them at the Uma hostel and I can’t wait to be back again on the island.

Family was really nice and helpful, could rent a scooter for 60k a day, owner took us to the harbour Two showers for 4 people are above standard, unfortunately not too many people around, but that's not the hostels issue I guess, nice community area to hang out

Super Hostel

J'avais prévu deux nuits mais j'ai finalement décidé d'en rester 4. C'est une île où on se sent bien, et l'hostel y est idéalement situé. Le propriétaire m'a appris à conduire un scooter et m'en a loué un. Il est très à l'écoute, respectueux et arrangeant!
