Cosy but smelly

We got the Family Bungalow and one of the bathrooms was locked. It was also realx smelly in the rooms with lots of airfreshener

Guesthouse was stunning, big and spacious, staff very friendly and trusting and if you needed anything just WhatsApp them. We rented a moped to get around the island easy and cheap. Pool area nice and chilled vibes

We absolutely loved our time at Kakiang guesthouse in Nusa Lembongan. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous with plants and a lovely pool with lots of area to sit around. The bedrooms were immaculate and were cleaned frequently in our stay. The bathroom was large and well equipped- slight smell of drains but we appreciate this is to be completely expected and didn’t bother us. Andre was always on site and was so helpful and attentive especially when we rented a scooter. Likewise Catherine was amazing at communication and advice. Nerby the guesthouse there was a hanful of local restaurants which were delicious and next door to a mini supermarket. At the guesthouse they also had a mini fridge which we found very useful. We would 100% recommend this guesthouse if you are staying in mushroom bay.

A beautiful property! Super comfortable, spacious & overall a great stay. One of the best restaurants on the island is 30 seconds away (Soka Warung) & there’s a convenience store right next door!

Really quiet and peaceful property, located a 3 minute walk from mushroom bay where you can get the boat to and from Sanur harbour! The beaches are all lovely, there’s about 4 nice beaches within walking distance from the property. Bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The property is also very accessible if you plan to get picked up by tour companies for the day!

Small to the point of intimate but well intended.

The frangipani trees were nice and the pool was clean. Complimentary tooth brushes and pool floats were a nice touch.

The bathrooms were moldy, it was also very small and the door to our villa kept falling off its hinges every day.

Amazing stay

The property was beautiful had everything we needed and was very modern. Was in a great walking distance to shops and restaurants and not far from Mushroom Bay.

The only thing was the kettle took a long time to boil and then when it had it was far too hot to pick up so had to use a towel so i didn’t burn myself

Lovely stay

Very small guesthouse, quite and very central in Mushroom Bay. Mandi was very lovely and attentive all the time, I could rent a scooter to get around the island from him and also arrange my ticket to Sanur. Room was lovely and bed very comfortable, everything was very clean and also there is room service everyday as well as water and a kettle with tea and coffee.

Bathroom was smelling mouldy all the times, I just kept the door closed and was fine. Needs a better ventilation

The host was super friendly and helpful. They will give you a lift when you have to leave or will offer you to pick you up when you arrive! Wonderful clean, friendly place and bungalow with beautiful arrangement of flowers to make you feel welcome once you arrive. Most comfortable bed ,breakfast made for you if you wish, nice swimming pool, quiet and very central place! If you need a scooter they arrange it for you!I would love to stay there again and highly recommend this place!

Lovely, peaceful stay right by Mushroom beach

It is a small family run resort with only 5 units which I liked. It is in a quiet area and street which made for amazing sleep. The bed was super comfortable and the unit was cleaned daily by the lovely owners. Loved my stay at Kakiang.

Highly recommended!

It was an exceptional stay and we loved staying there a lot. The pool was clean, the area tidy and nice, the villa was neat. There was the best warung just 1 min away from villa, you could get breakfast/lunch/dinner at a very good price and the food is very delicious. The nearby beaches-Mushroom beach (7 min away), Tamarind beach (8 min away). We also enjoyed Songlambung beach (20 min away) and went for snorkeling from there. The Hidden beach was just marvelous. Finally, Dream beach and sunset at Devil’s tears was 20 min away by foot.

best place on our trip

we booked for a week and stayed for a month :) budi and ketut are very lovely people and great hosts. the rooms and the outside area are cozy, very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable time. there’s a roof terrace to watch the stars, a kitchen that can be used, great restaurants close by and it’s only a short walk from mushroom beach. we would always come back here - highest recommendation!

Fantastic place! The owners were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t drive scooter so the owner offered to drop me off and pick me up when I needed. The room and toilet is clean and basic but in high standard (for it’s pricerange). Attached with a balcony with view over the pool/garden. Location is close to restaurangs and beaches. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in Lembongan!

This have been the best place that I´ve ever stayed. What a lovely place and owners. Thanks Budi and Ketut for treating us so good and making us feel at home all the time. The place was spectacular and the room from another level. So pretty, clean and with the best bed that you can imagine. The wifi was amazing and allow us to work without a problem. We extend our stay and we definitely are coming back!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Kakiang Guesthouse: Really friendly owner & staff, nice, clean bungalows, good water pressure, delicious breakfast...

The only thing I can mention here is the lights, which were on the whole night and since the bungalows only have white curtains it was never really dark during the night.

Fantastic Stay!

The owner Budi and his staff Wayan made our stay absolutely wonderful. They were able to cater to every request and need with great efficiency, and even helped with transporting us around the island for a good price! The room itself was clean, comfortable and done up every day. We looked forward to breakfast each morning which was deliciously prepared by Budi's wife. The guesthouse is located just a 5 minute walk from mushroom bay, so if you're taking the Tanis Express ferry from Sanur this is an excellent location! I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return!

Magical.

I’m a little hesitant in writing this review because I want this place to be our own little secret. However, I also want it’s owners to get the recognition they SO deserve. There are only five rooms which makes this place feel like your own little piece of paradise. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and the rooms are cleaned daily. Budi and his wife are the nicest people you’ll meet and will help you navigate the island in anyway you need. They offer to pick you up from the ferry and also rent motorbikes for a fair price. You can also book snorkeling with them. We did and were able to swim with dolphins! Stop your search and book here. I promise you will not be disappointed :)

Great stay, quiet location

The location was good, very close to Mushroom Bay and the dive centre we used at Tamarind Bay. Little shop next door was useful too and a two minute walk to a great Warung for breakfast. The owner, Budi, was really great - he let us use a scooter during our stay and picked us up and dropped us off at the boat harbours, which we really appreciated! The room was simple but spacious and clean, and we also loved the swimming pool.
