Do not stay here

The location and that all my family were able to stay together

The staff were rude. Told us we had to leave the villa 2 hrs before agreed check out time and subsequent transport. So we were stuck on the side of the road. Due to double booking times. Ordered breakfast from owner via WhatsApp then it didn’t show up. Then tried charging us an extra $190 for extra ‘drinks’ stating my children aged 7,5 and 2 drunk 21 cans of softdrink in 7 days. My kids absolutely do not drink softdrink. The hot water systems went out constantly in each room. Wouldn’t recommended staying for more than 1 night at a stretch. We had to just suck it up and deal with it because we couldn’t fit comfortably anywhere else. We booked all 6 rooms.

Lovely location, rooms and pool area. Very lovely family who look after the accommodation. Would return to stay for sure

Lovely rooms and pool - private but well positioned location close to Mushroom Beach.

Only suggestion would be to have mosquito nets in the rooms as there had been some rain and the mozzies were busy and found ways to get into the rooms.

Private oasis in Mushroom Bay for groups of friends and family

Perfect place for a group of friends or family trip, you literally have the entire place to yourselves! The villas might be a little dated, but otherwise they are clean and comfy. Ayu and her husband are always a whatsapp message away if they are not around the grounds and super accommodating with any requests - we ended up with a single mattress in our room for our little and day tours organised by Ayu for a fraction of the price we were given elsewhere. She also offered to watch our toddler while we went on our day tours. Plenty of food choices and a short walk to Mushroom Bay for ferries.

Best place for a group of people to have fun all in the one place

All, if you want to take up to 12 people with you this is the place. ($680 Aus in June23) for the whole place is a bargain ! Ayu will have anything you need at the doorstep in no time at all, golf buggy $60 6hrs, Scooter $8.50 24hrs. and lot lots more just ask! We had everthing we needed, everone was confortable, pool right in the middle of 6 bungalows, great setup. Very clean, very well organise, all of us will be back. Thankyou again Ayu, our stay was the best!

Mosquito nets over the beds would just be a bonus, if you sprayed before going out for dinner no bugs.

lovely rooms and staff- would come back :)

we loved the friendly staff, the rooms where clean and had good air conditioning. the bathrooms were nice. the location was a short walk from the beach and restaurants.

the pool looked like it could do with a clean. It wasn’t really a villa more like individual huts with a double bed and bathroom. there was a big table you could sit in though. They offered to make breakfast in the morning for a small fee as there was a little kitchen that the staff could use.

Perfect location for our family to be together and relax and unwind by the pool.

Loved being so close to the shops but also down a lane way you felt like you were miles away from anything. So relaxing hearing roosters crow and birds singing in the morning, Walk down the lane and there you are with all the restaurants to chose from just a 5 min walk.

Kijk maar even verder

Het eiland was fantastisch. Echt een paradijs met fantastische plekjes en aardige mensen.

De locatie was echt even schrikken. We waren met 8 personen en hadden het hele complex voor ons zelf. De huisjes zijn eigenlijk alleen maar een slaapkamer met badkamer. Maar dat is prima. Het bed zelf was niet slecht. Verder was het behoorlijk treurig. De badkamer was echt een drama. Als er al water uit de kraan kwam was het maar een beetje en koud. Zie foto voor een indruk van de watervoorziening. Valt nog mee dat de zaak niet allang is afgebrand. Hier was niet echt iets aan te doen. Het hele geval was niet meer dan een vies en beschimmeld hok vol met muggen. Want helaas kon de voordeur niet helemaal dicht. Dit was zo bij allemaal. Er zaten enorme kieren rondom de deuren. Toen we na een dagje strand vies en bezweet terug kwamen bleken we geen nieuwe handdoeken te hebben gekregen. Toen we hier om vroegen was het antwoord kort en duidelijk. Helaas, die hebben we niet vandaag! Toen we aangaven ze toch echt nodig te hebben was het antwoord, sorry ik spreek geen Engels. Kortom, sla deze accommodatie maar over.
