Excellent option to stay in Lembongan

The place is beautiful, people are extra nice, they were really flexible and friendly.

Just superb ❤️

We loved everything about this place - location (10min walk away from the Devil Tears and Dream Beach), the room/bungalow - the air conditioning works very well which is not the case in all accomodations here, good size room and bed with mosquito nets/fridge/wifi, spacious bathroom, fantastic swimming pool (not the usual 1m depth - this is a proper 1.6m we reckon), peaceful 4-hut place. Above all, the lady running it Wuliash was extraordinary! So accomodating, great chats, so helpful and just such a lovely lady - all the staff were! Can't recommend more! When we'll be back on the island, we will 100% come back here!

Great hotel in a great location

Hotel located in great place, you can get easily to any place. Host is friendly. Room is spacious and well kept, cleaned every day. Bed was good enough. Decent breakfast for a few euro. Overall great place.

Tv is present in rooms but useless, smart tv would make a difference. We rented scooter from hotel and it was pretty worn, I think you can find better options for same price elsewhere.

For the money, it was ok.

The owner and staff were very kind and helped with every issue. The grounds were quite well kept.

The TV didn’t work at all. The scooters they rented to us did not work well, and actually broke down. They still charged us, although they said it was a special price. I would rent from an outside dealer who gives newer and safer scooters.

Comfortable stay in a tranquil setting

There are only 4 cottages, so it is a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Beautiful, tranquil garden setting and nice swimming pool. Near to Dream beach and Devils tears. Take a quick walk down the road to Dhipa Warung for good value meals and nice relaxed vibe.

You need a bike if you stay in this area because it is quite far from the everything. The hotel does offer bike hire, so this is not a problem. The breakfast was disappointing for the extra price.

Lovely stay recommend

Love the place, 10 minutes walk from Dream beach and devils tears. So close to many restaurants. 15' from Mushroom bay. Totally recommend! Wayan was the most helpful person! She helped me with my ferries with free pickups! Breakfast was nice as well!

Would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pondok’s Joglo! The place was incredibly clean, the beds were super comfy, and the host went above and beyond — they helped organise all our ferries and snorkelling trips, which made everything so easy. We were also able to hire scooters directly from the property, which was super convenient for exploring. The breakfast was delicious (we especially loved the omelets!), and the pool was always clean and peaceful. Such a relaxing, comfortable stay — we’d definitely recommend it! Loved cookies next door! We ate here almost every meal.

A home away from home!

A big thank you to Wayan for your hospitality and an absolutely wonderful stay. We loved our time at Pondook Joglo and it was the perfect place to relax over Nyepi. We enjoyed our time so much we stayed longer than planned. The garden, pool and bungalows are maintained daily and are beautiful. The bed was so comfortable and the pool is probably the nicest we’ve seen in Indonesia so far. Wayan also gave us some great advice to make sure we respectfully enjoyed the Ogoh-Ogoh parade and Nyepi. She even let us and other guests borrow sarongs and sashes for the occasion. Pondooks Joglo is also next to some lovely cafes and restaurants but you are only 8 minutes scooter ride from the Jungubatu which has more shops and restaurants. You will not regret staying here.

Wayan is very kind and she makes sure that you feel at home. Breakfast is very good, place is just beautiful, rooms are clean and comfortable and you can easily use one of there scooters to explore the islands. Just a 10 for me!

Exceptional....absolutely loved Poondooks.

My son and I recently stayed at Pondooks Joglo and had an exceptional visit. We had a joglo each and loved the space, facilities, staff and everything about Pondooks. Such good value for money and the only disappointment was we could not stay there longer as had a return trip booked back to Australia. I cannot wait to come back here and stay longer than 4 nights. I've stayed on NL before at a high end resort and much preferred my time and the peacefulness at Pondooks. Thank you so much Wayan for having us and providing such fantastic accommodation.

Very good

Wayan, the owner, is so kind and helpful, She makes the best banana pancake of the Island. The garden Is perfect and clean. The swimming pool Is not too big but it's a really quite and peacefull place.

The staff were amazing! It is run by a Friendly and warm couple who will cook you breakfast and help you organise activities on the island, as well as transfers. Great location too, with a great cafe next door and à restaurant across the road. if you hire a scooter you can get to larger beach bars and shops in 5 mins.

Best place on Nusa Lembongan

Pondooks Joglo is a great place to stay in Lembongan. It all looks brand new, the bungalow is quite big and the bed is amazing! There's good aircon and a hot shower. The swimming pool is very nice and there are only 4 bungalows so it's never too busy. Wayan is a great host who makes sure you'll have a great time. We arranged scooters through her and also the boat back to Bali which was all organised perfectly. So I would recommend everyone to stay here, awesome price/quality.

Nothing negative about the accommodation. But we did not like the snorkel 'tour' we booked through Wayan. It was with a local on his small boat, he did not speak any English, the boat was slow and the waves to big so we didn't see much. Would have been better to join a group tour on a bigger boat.

Superb

Wayan (the host) is so lovely and so helpful. Her banana pancakes were great. The pool and accommodation is clean. The plants and trees give Pondooks an extra special feel of tranquility. We were able to walk to Mushroom Beach, Devils Tear and Dream Beach all really easily.

Being in the middle of nature in a beautifully naturally made chalet, just prepare yourself for the sounds of animals. There were no animals in the room but you could hear them in the roof! Don't let this stop you from visiting this absolute gem!

awesome amazing.. little paradise !

We originally planned 6 nights and then extended it to 9. My best place to stay ever has been and we travel quite a bit. Super clean, heavenly garden and an incredibly great pool. The complex consists of 4 lovingly designed Bali bungalows for 2 people each with an outdoor bathroom and a super huge comfortable bed, leaving nothing to be desired. Breakfast is very good. I want say : The owner Mrs Wayan and her husband Butu, I have never met such lovely people as these two, every wish was fulfilled and they also organized everything, snorkeling tour, scooter's, transfer and lunch at the pool from the neighborhood Warung - everything is made possible. The location is excellent, within a radius of 250 meters there are about 15 restaurants and Warungs, all with very good food and great staff. It's about a 10 minute walk to Dream Beach, or 2 minutes by scooter. The island is quiet, no cars, no comparison to Bali. Best location on Lembongan! We come back, that's for sure !!!

Lovely family nice and clean room, great pool, good breakfast. They can help with tickets for boat etc. Minutes walk to Dream beach and Devils Tear, to see the best sunsets. The street in front quiet and enough warungs. We will come back soon.

We loved our stay so much, we didn’t want to leave. The owners are lovely and very helpful, providing information of tourist sites and ticket prices and have bikes to rent for the day. The room was clean and the bed was so comfy! The pool was relaxing and the perfect temperature. We have been travelling through SE Asia for 3 months and this has been our favourite stay! We did ask to extend our stay but unfortunately they were fully booked. We will definitely be back.

A clean, luxurious feeling Villa in a great location!

Pondooks Joglo is a luxury feeling oasis on the island of Nusa Lembongan. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, they organised our transport to and from the boat, rented their bike to us and gave great information on the area and trips to Nusa Penida. Breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty, the banana smoothie was a great way to start the day. The infinity swimming pool is clean and the sun beds provide a great place to relax in the afternoon too. The location couldn’t be better. It’s away from the hustle and bussle but only a short walk to sunset beach and there is many fantastic restaurants around it. Our room was cleaned daily, the air conditioning works very well and the Wi-Fi worked well for what we needed. Overall, this was one of our favourite places we stayed in Bali and we can’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful new villas & pool & friendly service.

This is a gem of a place to stay on Nusa L & really glad we found it by fluke. Very warm welcome from Wayan and her family, they can't do enough for you. The pool is spectacular, and only a short scooter ride from all the beaches. The Villas and furnishings are brand new. There are very good restaurants & Warungs nearby.
