Our recently remodeled townhome is a 4-bedroom 3-bath + loft-bedroom three level townhome. The first level has three bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master bedroom with a flat screen TV and attached full size bathroom. (King Size Bed) The second bedroom has( 2 double size beds), a flat screen TV, and shares an adjacent bathroom with the third bedroom which has (1 Queen size bed), a crib, and a flat screen TV. The 2nd level has a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a large flat screen TV, wood burning fireplace, and balcony. There is an additional bedroom with 1 Queen size bed) and an adjacent full bath on this level. The the loft has( 1 queen and single bed).

The condo itself is nice and clean. It is three stories which isn’t very toddler friendly. Check in was fast and easy. One reason why I gave it a four star is because I thought it was closer to lake. The lake is about a three minute walk from the condo and there is no lake view from the condo itself. The only view is a massive amount of other condos. My preference when I go on vacation is to try to get as close to waterfront. But if this is not a big deal to you, then the condo will work perfectly fine. Another issue during our stay was the pool, spa, and bathrooms near the lake were closed. The pool in the lodge was open but was not heated The main center of South Lake Tahoe is about 1.25 miles away from the property. Which with kids can be about a 30 minute walk. There are restaurants and Whole Foods right across street.

Perfect location, nice town house, clean, comfortable for our family of 13. Kitchen was a nice size and living room good size. Nice furniture. TV Remotes were a little confusing to use at first. The Mattresses in guess rooms were not comfortable need new ones, toilet in Master Bedroom needs new pump, no pressure.

I planned a Bachelorette trip here at Ethan's stay without ever being to Lake Tahoe and it did not disappoint. The location is very central to restaurants, shops, etc in South Lake Tahoe and we were able to walk everywhere. The house itself worked perfectly for our large group, and it was very clean and nice. We had a great time lounging inside, as well as by the pool and fire pits the resort has. The resort is also on the beach so that was awesome. Ethan and the hosts were very helpful and answered our messages in a very timely manner which was great. Would recommend staying here if you want to be close by the great places in South Lake Tahoe.

Thank you Mark and Ethan for making our stay so wonderful. We didn’t want to leave. This was my family’s 9th summer in a row staying at Lakeland Village and this unit was by far our favorite. It was comfortable for our family of 12 and had every amenity you could want or need. We booked this unit 10 months in advance and communication between myself and the owners from day one was always quick and thorough. During our stay we had an issue with a broken bed frame in the master bedroom. I emailed Mark and he responded within minutes and had a new frame delivered the next day. We had a great stay and will definitely be booking this unit again next year.

Great location - very short walk to pools and beach. We parked our cars and they didn't leave the parking lot until our stay was complete. We used the kitchen for every meal and it was very well stocked.

There was plenty of space for all of us. Beds were comfortable, but the bedding itself was a bit warm. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep our meals. Water pressure in the showers was great. It was close to shopping and restaurants too. We loved using the pool, beach, and fire pits. It was nice to have the restroom by the beach too. I would definitely stay here again.

The property has very easy access to the parking lot, which is great for unloading, etc. It also is a very quick walk to the beach. So location is good. The unit needed some sprucing up (furniture, walls painted) but I was told they will be working on that after this summer season and the host was very nice in providing a late checkout to compensate for that. There are plenty of sleeping areas and plenty of bathrooms. All were clean and equipped. If you are going in the summer you need to bring your own beach towels and beach chairs. We also brought a canopy. Because we are CA residents this wasn’t a big deal for us. I’ve stayed on this property in another unit before and like it as it’s really close to Heavenly and the casinos. Overall my family had a great time.

• THE UNIT WAS VERY WORN AND TIRED o The photographs that accompanied the listing were not accurate or reflective of the current layout and condition of the unit. o The sofa had a tear in the corner. o The loft bedding situation was dysfunctional. Capacity of 13 is an overstatement. o The master bedroom furniture was dysfunctional and not as pictured in the listing. • GENERAL CLEANLINESS o Dust everywhere. The obvious horizontal surfaces had been dusted but that is all. The window shades, mantle, light fixtures, lamp shades, base boards, chair rails, etc. had not been touched in some time. o There were dust motes under all of the furniture and beds. o The electric cook top was awful. There were layers of baked on crusted food residue that had not been cleaned for a very long time. Additionally, the cook top was very worn and scratched – well past the point of replacement. o The fans were encrusted with a thick layer of dust. o The washing machine was not cleaned. There was soap residue in the top. o The outdoor grill looked like it had never been cleaned. In addition, the grill could only grill 6 hamburgers vs a 13 capacity unit?? o The patio light was full of debris. o The general lack of common cleanliness would lead one to question whether the Covid protocols had been followed. • VACATION RENTAL ASSISTANCE o VRA was totally unresponsive. When I called on Sunday evening to report the issues with the hair drier fire and the filthy fans, he said he was tired and asked if it could wait until the next morning. I agreed if he would keep me informed of his plans to remedy the issues on Monday. I did not hear from him at all on Monday. He did not return my follow-up call on Tuesday morning.

Mark, the owner is a delight to work with. He allowed us to have early check-in and a late check-out. Mark was in immediate communication with any question we had. The property is located within close walking distance to the beach. The floors do squeak and make lots of noise, so the people sleeping downstairs will hear every footstep...bring ear plugs if you plan to sleep downstairs. There is no AC which is not a problem during the night, but it makes for a hot townhouse during the day. Thankfully, the property had many fans located throughout the house, otherwise it would have been extremely hot inside. The stove / oven need to be replaced, it took 30 minutes to boil water and the oven does not keep a constant temperature. Which is problematic if you want to cook your own meals. There is not a sharp knife to be found, so either bring your own knife sharper or your own set of knives if you plan to prepare meals. The dishwasher does not stay on the track, so everytime you load/unload the dishwasher, you have to lift the entire bottom rack in order to pull it out. The couch has no more springs left, so you sit very low in the couch. The bed in the back bedroom downstairs does not have any working springs left in the bed. The location of the property can't be beat. Sadly, we didn't get to use the pool or the hot-tub as they were both closed. Instead of the regular 3 to 4 week timeframe to damage deposit returned, I asked for it to be returned sooner and it was.

Great place and great location. We went to Tahoe for my father's 80th birthday, and it was a great experience. The property itself was clean and tidy. Property owner/manager were very responsive prior to our stay, and we did not have any issues during the stay. The size of the house was also perfect, and the kids really enjoyed the upstairs loft. There was even a "Happy Birthday" sign and wine upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The location was also great. Short walk to the beach, and short drive to Heavenly, which were the two places we ended up going to most of the week. We will likely come here again!

Stayed for a weekend for a girls getaway. This is the perfect location, walking distance from great restaurants, steps from the lake. The townhouse is perfect for a family or a weekend away with friends. We had a minor mishap and Mark was on it. Completely responsive and had great follow up. We will use this rental again.

I really liked this unit. It was clean and the furniture is all in good shape, "EXCEPT" for the mattresses. For instance on one bed, the mattress springs were exposed. Most of the beds were VERY uncomfortable. The beds are in desperate need to be updated!! Everything else was good. The owners were very good to work with, quick response to questions. I would love to stay in this unit again, if, and only if, they update the beds.

Just a few steps from the lake. Spacious bedrooms. Large couch in living room. Kitchen is narrow but has everything needed for guests. Extra large closet in downstairs hallway. A few minor repairs needed and manager, Mark is seeing to those immediately. The only negative would be a very squeeky floor upstairs so the bottom floor hears it especially at night and early morning if people are walking around upstairs. It was a little annoying but will be getting fixed soon! Large ski closet by front door can store things in both winter & summer. We really loved our week in this condo. Parking was never a problem during a busy summer week but everything is very close by and we walked a lot. Great restaurants nearby. Great for families! I would definately stay here again!

I wanted a place that was esthetically pleasing, roomy and situated close to the water. This rental fit the bill very well. We walked along the beach and went out on the pier to take some picture in the early evening. Having diner with the family and enjoying the working fireplace was perfect. It is an easy drive to the town and slopes. My only minor negative comment is that at the time, the wi fi did not appear to be working and the condo wi fi was intermittent. This is an easy fix. We would certainly come back here again in either the winter or summer.

We came out to Tahoe for a wedding and stayed with our closet friends. It was an incredible weekend but this spot made it perfect. The rooms are clean, spacious with plenty of towels. It's close to almost everything in South Lake. A 1 minute walk to the water , and close walk to restaurants and the owners are insanely helpful. We hope to be back in the winter.

We loved our time at this lovely Tahoe rental. It is clean, updated and right by the lake. We enjoyed the lake as well as the property pool and hot tub. This rental is also within walking distance of a boat arena, casinos, restaurants, shops, etc. The owner is phenomenal and does a great job of communicating in a timely manner. We'd definitely recommend this place.

The unit was very comfortable though not as clean as we expected, especially considering the cost. The pools and beach were very nice and the extra towels were appreciated. Beach towels would be even better. Mark Ford was helpful and the response to our issues with housekeeping was very timely and well addressed.

The house was great! i love his living room especially. It was a great place to play games, have chats. However, I was a little bit disappointed that I thought the house was right beside the beach. Anyway, it wasn't really far away from the beach. And we had BBQ on the nearby beach. The overall experience was still good. Love it.

Great townhouse in a perfect location for fun in Tahoe. It was great for our group of guys. We used it as a ski get away, the heavenly gondola is only 1 mile away. It would also be great for a beach trip as the property has a private beach. There are many restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend to large parties looking for a vacation. Mark was great to work with. Thank you!

Great location easy to get to mountains, shopping and casinos. Pool and jacuzzi area also very nice. Lake just steps away, Beautiful views. 3 full bathrooms are a plus!!! 4 bedrooms plus a loft. The kitchen may be a bit small. The maintenance service very accommodating as well as the owner, very nice!
