Fabulous.

Although you are in Helen and Colin"s home, you are made very welcome and then provided with private lounge, bathroom and bedroom area ( much more space than if staying in a motel room). It's very peaceful and then breakfast was a feast. If you dont have a man's appetite I would suggest asking for a half portion!

Everything is provided for in a beautiful, ultra clean home - I can't fault any of it.

My favourite bed and breakfast in Auckland.

Helen and Colin are a lovely couple who make you feel welcome in their beautiful home. Enjoyed the spa, the comfortable bed, quiet location, great water pressure in the shower, complimentary home made baking, snacks and more. The breakfast was delicious, especially loved the waffles with fried banana, bacon, maple syrup and option of yoghurt or ice cream. Helen makes another amazing cooked breakfast as well with beautifully poached eggs, bacon, grilled tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms yumm and even a vegetarian option.

This is the best b&b we've ever stayed

The decorations are amazing. There are many lovely corners in the house. It is like visiting a gallery. Many interesting magazines in the room. I read in the guest book that Helen owns a interior design business, that explains why the room is designed with so many lovely details and fine furnitures. The breakfast is also perfect. staying here is like my ideal lifestyle. Thank you to Helen for the snacks and bubbles! It is the last day of our honeymoon and best stay!

Te Soro is truely a treasure !

This B&B is the best we have ever stayed in. Helen has a beautiful house and she has thought of everything you could ever need: wines, hand made biscuits, snacks, lemonade, slippers, dressing gowns, spare towels, blankets, pillows… All in stunning Italianate house,beautifully decorated with the most supremely comfortable bed. 3 min drive from town, super quiet at night. oh and the breakfast… delicious! we will be back. Helen you should be so proud of what you have achieved and what you do. thanks you for organising the dinner reservations and the advice on things to do. You are a gem!!! Grazie😀😀😀😀😀

A hidden luxurious gem in a quite suburb.

My husband and I were very impressed with this extremely well appointed and beautifully decorated traditional B&B. Helen has thought of everything and we had a very luxurious ensuite room, with beautiful linen, fluffy white towels, extremely comfortable King sized bed, a cupboard with drinks ( wine) chocolate brownies, small private terrace and a lovely fully cooked breakfast to enjoy the next day. It was the perfect stop over from Bay of Islands to Coromandel Peninsula. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Just one night passing through, but a fabulous place to stop.

Liked everything about it. Clean comfortable and wonderful decor. The owner was so helpful. After having a specially prepared vegetarian breakfast I asked if I could have the recipe - did not expect to be given a ready printed glossy card with full instructions! Only stayed at the location because nothing much was available closer to Auckland. Didn't realise how good it would be - just a shame there was little on our short itinerary in this area.

Absolutely everything! Friendly, accommodating hosts, exceptionally clean facilities, it felt like I was staying in a palace. Helen went out of her way to provide me with gluten free options. Very handy for going to the V8s.
