About this cottage rental
Relaxing 3 bedroom cottage located in a prime location on "all sports" Stony Lake with spectacular views. Watch the sunrise from the balcony or the private, sandy beach right in your backyard. Dock your boat at the dock or use the paddle boat, sailboat, stand up paddles boards or kayaks which are included with the rental to explore Stony Lake. Enjoy swimming, playing in the sand, water sports or fishing off the dock. Create wonderful memories with family and friends while enjoying the cookouts on a new gas grill, campfires, or floating down the river into Lake Michigan. End your day on the 10x30 deck or the beach with your beverage of choice and watch the sunset. Our guests will surely enjoy the newly added, full bathroom as well as the updated family room furniture.
The cottage is located on the south side of Stony Lake which makes access to local attractions such as Lake Michigan, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Michigan Adventure, golf, horseback riding, bike trails, or a quick trip to the store very convenient. Ludington, Pentwater, Montague, Hart and Whitehall are all within 30 minutes.

We loved the family-friendly waterfront that suited all our needs, from teenagers to 80 grandparents. The sunset views were wonderful. We also enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed, light and airy kitchen/dining room. The S’mores supplies were a very nice touch. We had another wonderful Stony Lake stay and enjoyed visiting many of our favorite spots again—Stony Lake Inn, Cherry Point, Pentwater, Stony Lake Stables, Woodland Market, and, of course, the Big Lake beach and Stony Lake channel.

We had a wonderful time at Stony Lake! The cottage was a great fit for our family. We really enjoyed spending a lot of time on the front deck and floating in the water. The hosts were generous and very easy to work with. Thank you for the memories!

The property was beautiful right on the lake and in close to proximity to so many places. We were able to host 5 adults and 2 kids comfortably. Everyone we crossed paths with were extremely friendly.

We rented this property for a girls' weekend and it did not disappoint. So cute! The bedrooms were nice and not at all musty. We loved Stony Lake! One highlight was being able to kayak together out to Lake MI. We also enjoyed close-by Ludington amenities and the fantastic Mexican food in neighboring Shelby. We loved our time away at this gorgeous lakeside getaway.
