About this bed and breakfast
When my husband Bob and I purchased this property 17 years ago, we knew it was just too beautiful not to share. The ocean and mountain vistas are like no other. The most common comment we receive is 'Wow, what a million dollar view'.
We are situated on seven acres set in a private and peaceful setting. Our home is truly a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing views from the hot tub or gazebo on your private patio. Enjoy the spacious bathroom equipped with towels, misc. bath needs and comfortable bath robes. We provide coffee, tea, cream butter and homemade cheese bread.
This is much more than a bed and breakfast. Many of our guest choose to treat it as a destination, taking time to relax and wind down. The gazebo and hot tub are yours to use exclusively during your visit. There is a BBQ provided which has been very popular. Your dishes are whisked away from behind the magic door (you have to check in for the rest of that story) and returned dishwasher clean.
If you choose to venture out, there are several hiking trails, wineries, fabulous restaurants, lakes and ocean beaches close by including the spectacular Malahat Sky Walk just 1.5 kilometers south. Mill Bay (about 5 minutes north) has shops, liquor store, Thrifty foods, Pharmasave and many other amenities.
We have been in operation since 2011; it has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever and are humbled by our 5 star rating!

Easy to find, beautiful location, great owners; all the necessities for rest and to reconnect. The hottub overlooking the ocean and mountains was a dream and we will be back! Thanks Char :)

All the tens are well deserved! Char and Bob are extremely lovely people and have thought a lot about hospitable touches! In the winter there would be heated floors indoors as well as outdoor fire pit and heating elements. And in summer there’s a heat pump to have AC if needed in the unit. Absolutely spectacular views and comfy interior. Watched Butchart Gardens fireworks from the hot tub. Amazing homemade cheese bread and more.

The location and views were fabulous. Huge comfortable king bed. Tons of outdoor space overlooking Mill Bay. Every convenience and amenity provided from robes and crocs for hot tub to well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It even had a power blind which we opened in morning to watch our fabulous view. We brought 2 doodles which were welcomed and they enjoyed property with us. We hated to leave but on to our next stop. Char reached out to us when we were traveling northward and was very accessible when we had questions.
