About this bed and breakfast
When my husband Bob and I purchased this property 17 years ago, we knew it was just too beautiful not to share. The ocean and mountain vistas are like no other. The most common comment we receive is 'Wow, what a million dollar view'.
We are situated on seven acres set in a private and peaceful setting. Our home is truly a great place to relax and enjoy the amazing views from the hot tub or gazebo on your private patio. Enjoy the spacious bathroom equipped with towels, misc. bath needs and comfortable bath robes. We provide coffee, tea, cream butter and homemade cheese bread.
This is much more than a bed and breakfast. Many of our guest choose to treat it as a destination, taking time to relax and wind down. The gazebo and hot tub are yours to use exclusively during your visit. There is a BBQ provided which has been very popular. Your dishes are whisked away from behind the magic door (you have to check in for the rest of that story) and returned dishwasher clean.
If you choose to venture out, there are several hiking trails, wineries, fabulous restaurants, lakes and ocean beaches close by including the spectacular Malahat Sky Walk just 1.5 kilometers south. Mill Bay (about 5 minutes north) has shops, liquor store, Thrifty foods, Pharmasave and many other amenities.
We have been in operation since 2011; it has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever and are humbled by our 5 star rating!

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay here. Thank you, Char and Bob, for sharing your beautiful property.Our favorite moments were sitting in the hot tub and relaxing in the loungers, and many walks, just taking in the view. It was really something special and unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed. Stargazing from the hot tub was incredible, so peaceful and clear, and waking up to watch the sunrise over the water was just as special, the perfect way to start the day.The setting is so peaceful and private, which made it incredibly easy to unwind. All the little touches, like the cozy robes and the homemade cheese bread, made us feel so welcome and cared for.Thank you again for such a memorable stay. Kristy and I had a relaxing two nights thoroughly Enjoying the privacy of your location and the spectacular panoramic views. Even more special Were the the same views framed in stars and draped in twilight while we reminisced together about our days outings. The private hot tub and covered deck were an appreciated upgrade from the spas we know! From the warm and efficient reception, the homemade gourmet bread, and the elegant European ensuite we felt welcomed and perhaps a little graciously spoiled. Many thanks Char, Bill and Kristy.

A spectacularly lovely spot with an amazing view. Hosts were wonderful and made the stay a most enjoyable experience. The hot tub, gazebo with fireplace made watching the inlet stunning.Homemade touches were awesome with breakfast a treat especially homemade cheesbread-to die for.Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a superb getaway!
