Keep driving to nanimo

Location was close to other towns

The price was crazy also charged me for everyday my pets stayed with me ,it was not worth the money I paid for 5 days ,was almost 1000 dollars ,and the place was old I could see out the bottom of my door ,the cleaning lady was awesome, and friendly, not worth the price better options in nanimo,

The Motel was a classic old roadside Motel. The room was clean, but a bit worn. The manager was super nice and helpful.

Oh, just a bit tattered here and there. It was right on the highway, but we didn't notice any noise in the room.

Clean comfortable accommodation which was centrally located to all of the attractions along the Cowichan coast. Island ferries and the art installations in Chemainus were a highlight

The grass area was nice. Lots of parking

As a female solo traveller I didn’t feel safe, there was cameras along the walkway but the small deadbolt didn’t seem sufficient. Wifi didn’t work the first night and the bathtub plug didn’t work. I looked around the room and found a dirty fork under the bed - it had not been vacuumed for a long time. When I asked for early check in the man at the office was quite rude and shooed me away quickly. No ice machine or vending on site and the co-op nearby closed at 10

Great little hotel. Room was newly renovated and everything was clean and comfortable. Love being able to park outside your room door. Hotel is right on the highway but didn’t notice traffic noise in the night. Decent location, a restaurant next door and a couple mins from the other restaurants in chemainus. Decent place and affordably priced. Slept like a log.

Good location, good beds and plenty of parking. Good to walk outside in the facility. The place was safe and close to good restaurants and breweries.

Did not like the wall air conditioner in bedroom, as it was noisy. Reception available in site only after 3 pm check in time, although were very kind. No additional features, like laundry or vending machine. No outlets available to recharge cell phones.

Good value, comfortable motel on a busy highway

Basic but comfortable motel accommodation outside delightful Chemainus. The motel itself is right on the noisy highway. We arrived with our bikes, which meant crossing the highway. We walked over the Fuller Lake for a swim (wonderful!), which also required crossing the highway. But the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the diner next door was convenient for breakfast.

The room met our needs and we would stay again.

We liked that it was beside the highway we driving on. Lots of linens, and the bed was comfortable. It had a mini fridge and microwave, which are necessities for us. Gas station and restaurant nearby.

The room was very dark, it needed more lighting. The curtains did not cover the windows from edge to edge.

Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms were spotless and super clean!

As advertised! Very clean and new upgrades to room were most comfortable!

Road noise was quite loud. Seemed to come thru the window AC/heating unit as it’s not completely sealed off due to venting requirements. Outside traffic noise settled after 10:30 pm and resumed about 7 am. Can’t be helped, but it was bit disruptive for sleep in an otherwise quiet and accessible location.

Good value for clean and comfy stay

Very plush clean comfy bed. Nice tv, mini fridge, coffee maker and coffee. CLEAN LOVELY SHOWER CURTAIN. I hate it when the bathroom smells like pee because it’s the mildew on the shower curtain, yuk. Sorry to be so graffic but it happens all the time. Nice hot shower, friendly staff. Would stay again

The door knob is funky old but it works. The rooms had a smell like the old cigar smoke was going to sneak out away unless the room is totally aired out before guests arrive. The outside looks worn but that helps keep prices down so yaaay.

Friendly, clean, economical, old school motel. Right off of Highway 1.

Staff went out of their way to assist me with an unplanned package delivery. Room was recently remodeled. Restaurant right next door. A pleasant, “old school” motel.

There is a bit of road traffic noise-during daytime hours. Not the hotels fault, but not a problem at night.

It was a basic room, comfortable, floor was cold with no carpet, nice to have a fridge and microwave. Front office staff were super accommodating and compensated for being unavoidably late at check in with a discount. Good location for our needs and surprisingly quiet given its proximity to the highway.
