My daughter and I needed a mom, daughter trip. Lakemont Pines exceeded our expectations. The house is so well kept and quiet. It is surrounded by pine trees. There are two bedrooms each with a door leading out to a deck. We sat out on the deck at night, had a glass of wine and just listened to crickets, owls and other critters. The lake. Oh let me tell you about the lake. I’ve been taking my kids to Arnold/Murphy’s area since they were babies they are all grown up now. I had no idea about this lake. It’s a slice of heaven. You do not need to bring floaties because they have them there for free. It’s a gorgeous lake. We floated for hours. Beverly was an amazing host. She was so friendly and so accommodating and I hope she knows that she and her home were just what my daughter and I needed. This home was by far my favorite place I have stayed. We will be back.

We stayed 3 nights and the place was great. Clean, both rooms offer Queen beds. TV in family room if you choose. We used the bbq on site and it worked flawlessly. Nice deck to sit, relax, read, etc. Lake is maybe 1/4 from the property. So you can walk or drive over.Beverly, one of the hosts who i cummicated with from start to finish was just super. Quick to respond to your questions. Will be back to this cabin again for sure. Do yourselve a favor and check this cabin out for yourself. You will be as happy as we were.Mike

We had a great time - the cabin is perfect and everything is just as stated in the description. Can’t wait to come back.

I was so pleased with how clean and tidy the cabin was upon entering! The property offered everything we were looking for: just yards away from miles and miles of hiking trails, to lake activities steps away, to restaurants and adventures within 15 minutes (or less) driving. You can “check out” kayaks, floaties and other things at the lake to use while there. Was exactly what we were hoping. The bed was very soft. (I’d much prefer that than too hard!) The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking, baking, grilling or cleaning. The host Beverly was swift to reply to any messages, extremely accommodating and very friendly. If you’re looking for a great home base for making your meals between adventures and hanging out at the lake or mountain trails, and not just sitting around a cabin watching TV, , then this is your spot!
