Strange host, strange flat

The only nice part of this flat was that it was in a convenient location. Otherwise, this stay below average. 1. There were no locks on the bedroom and bathroom doors. You can only lock the bedroom door from the inside and you can't even lock the bathroom door at all which, when you're sharing with other people, is just creepy. 2. We were told not to use the kitchen. The host made a rude comment about Polish people, telling us that "you Polish people tend to cook smelly foods in the kitchen like meat". We're vegan. We just wanted to use the kitchen to prepare granola and fruit for breakfast. 3. The refrigerator didn't work so we couldn't keep the pre-made supermarket lunches we bought cool. 4. We came back one afternoon and saw our bedroom door open. We had closed it firmly before leaving. Very concerning. No idea if the host or another traveller entered our room. 5. The host begged for a review before we had even finished our stay. We were enjoying our last dinner before leaving the next day when I got a Whatsapp message asking us to review the accommodation. When we returned from our dinner, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. We messaged the host about it and instead of lifting a finger to go get some, she directed us where to find it (to the host: please use a translator app. Your English is very hard to understand). 6. The shower has no shower curtain or glass, so when you take a shower it floods the whole bathroom and you have to mop it each time. 7. No trash bins. Just a plastic bag hung around a chair in the room. There isn't even a trash bin in the bathroom, so if you're a woman and need to throw away a tampon... totally unhygienic. 8. You could hear everything in this flat. Luckily we had respectful people in the room next to us. But even though they were trying to be quiet, we could still hear a lot. I can't imagine the horror of trying to share with travellers who aren't as respectful.

Strange and uncomfortable

The flat is beautiful and in a great location. It's a shame that some aspects were not taken care of.

Basic things like toilet paper were not fully available. The flat has a few rooms. One of them is used by the owner. The rest is rented so strangers are sharing the apartment. There is an option to lock your room from inside, but not from outside so you leave your things unlocked. The owner doesn't see a problem with that. You share a bathroom with other residents. There's no way to lock yourself in there. It's not very comfortable. Our toothbrushes and cosmetics, which we kept there, were uninvitedly packed in a plastic bag, brought to our room, and left on the floor while we were outside. Despite numerous other instructions regarding what is and isn't allowed in the apartment, there was no mention of us not being allowed to keep things in the bathroom. This surprised us greatly and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Overall we had a great stay and I would totally recommend staying in this apartment

The apartment was extremely clean, pleasant and minimalistic. It’s very close to the center, metro station and all the nice cafes and parks :) additionally the owner was very helpful and offered us leaving the bags earlier, which was very convenient.

The bathroom door doesn’t lock, which is a little bit of discomfort in a shared apartment. Additionally locking the main door was not intuitive for us, same for our neighbours - took us some time to figure it out and there were no instructions from the owner, despite multiple other instructions for more obvious things. Owner also asked us not to use the kitchen in order to not interrupt other guests in the apartment- we didn’t plan to anyway, but this is rather a strange request to guests that are renting apartments instead of hotels for this particular reason.

Attentive host and lovely space - well worth a stay :)

Very clean and spacious! The owner was very helpful and sweet (brought fresh flowers and was very responsive if we had questions) 🌷

Just in case it’s not super clear (we missed it when booking - most likely our fault 😅 ) you are sharing the kitchen/bathroom with others! The other guests there during our stay were lovely and considerate :)

Very good accommodation in the city center!

The lodging comprises of two spacious and luminous areas - a main room with a large table and chairs for guests, and a generously sized sleeping space furnished with a big and comfortable bed. To reach the kitchen and bathroom, one must pass through a third room, which is unoccupied by the host. Additionally, the apartment is kept exceptionally clean.

i like the location, it is pretty central, you can go anywhere just by foot. The room is simple and pretty, and always warm in winter, even if we dont turn on the heater.

There is no trash bin, that would be good if there is just one trash bin to throw away trashes :> so what i did, i used plastic bag to collect my trashes and throw it away later in the garbage can on the street.

Good Location, Spacious, No Kitchen Access

This apartment was located in a good area about 12 minutes walk from Central Copenhagen Station and Tavoli. It is a very quiet neighbourhood with restaurants and a massive supermarket within minutes. The apartment is spacious and the beds generally comfortable. Upon arrival, the room was freezing so we had to turn on the radiator with the nobs (note: you can't adjust the temperature).

I did not appreciate the fact that #1 the owner messaged me on the day to tell me to avoid using the cooker and other appliances due to the energy crisis and to eat outside. The fridge was disconnected, too. #2 someone came into our room while we were not there and turned off the radiator.

The apartment was a bit old. Some of the doors did not have a proper lock(the bedroom, the living room and the bathroom). The Wifi signal was weak in the room. There was a window next to the shower in the bathroom which was a bit creepy.

The apartment was spacious, hat big windows with lots of light coming through, it was clean, the bed hat nice sheets, it was warm enough inside. The location was ok, you could reach the city center by foot, if you choose to do so. The host was friendly and gave us advice about public transportation and places to eat at.

Even though it had a kitchen, the owner was queasy about letting us use it, the dishwasher too. On the site it said check in at 11:00, but when we contacted the host she said we can check in at 13:00. But we were able to leave our bags at the apartment before check in. We only had a bit of toilet paper left and it wasn't replaced after it was finished, even though it was a shared bathroom with the host. Another thing, the wifi signal doesn't even reach the bedroom properly. But nothing we couldn't live without.

Superb

Location was perfect, very minimalistic design, there was everything we needed and we shared the (really spacious) apartment only with the owner, we definitely had our privacy during the whole stay.

It’s nothing serious but don’t count with using the kitchen for proper cooking, the owner was working there sometimes. But we could have used the fridge though so it was totally fine for our stay in Copenhagen.

Owner communicated very clearly about how to find the keys. Instructions were left for everything and there was no interference from her. I needed to leave my bags on the day I had my flight, owner was nice enough to let me do so and return the keys in evening.

Toilet has no lock. Ideally it will be good to have lock for a shared place.

Apartamento clássico e central

O apartamento está bem localizado num dos bairros mais in de Copenhaga! Existem vários restaurantes perto e a estação de central de Copenhaga fica a cerca de 16min a pé. O quarto onde ficámos era espaçoso e a casa está bem equipada, nomeadamente em termos de material de cozinha e secador de cabelo! A dona do apartamento mostrou-se disponível para nos ajudar e permitiu-nos deixar as malas dentro de casa no dia em que nos vínhamos embora (uma vez que o nosso voo era só ao final da tarde) - o que foi óptimo!

Apesar da cozinha estar muito bem equipada, o frigorífico não estava ligado e não havia saco ou caoxote de lixo, o que não é tão convidativo para cozinhar. Ainda assim, pudemos usar a cozinha para aquecer comida. Outro ponto menos positivo a referir, foi o facto da nossa cama estar desfeita quando chegámos e não nos terem sido disponibilizadas toalhas de banho.
