OUR HOME IS CLOSE TO MINITAS BEACH AND ALL THE AMENITIES CASA DE CAMPO OFFERS, AS IT IS LOCATED AT THE CENTER OF THE RESORT.
PARADISE FOR GOLFERS AND THE WHOLE FAMILY!!
Las Toronjas 1 is a uniquely designed, airy and opened to nature villa. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and coconut trees overlooking the 10th hole of La Romana Country Club Golf Course, designed by Pete Dye, at Casa de Campo, La Romana. Strategically located, Las Toronjas 1 is just a few minutes away from Minitas Beach, the Marina, Altos de Chavon, the main hotel facilities, and three other golf courses including the famous Pete Dye design Teeth Of The Dog.
As you enter this open space villa you’ll enjoy the greenery and warmth of the indoor garden surrounded by bedrooms, living room, studio, gazebo, swimming pool and heated jacuzzi – all these areas enjoy the spectacular view of the fairway and green of the 10th hole.
The home has 4 bedrooms with 4.5 bathrooms. One queen bed in master bedroom, one king bed in second bedroom and in room 3 and 4 each one has 2 queen size beds. All four bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, Smart TVs, safe deposit boxes and full bathrooms. The studio, as well, has air conditioning, a 65" Smart TV. The living room has a 30 ft. high ceiling, hosts 2 dining tables that each seats 12; and opens up with six wooden sliding doors, to a view over the deck and swimming pool, towards the golf course. The gazebo is located between the pool and indoor courtyard with a living area and a dining table that seats ten, facing the green of the 10th hole.
We have a 3 member staff: butler (sleeps in a facility outside the villa), cook and housekeeper till 5:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are prepared daily at the request of our guests. Daily cleaning, linens and towels are included with the rental. Dinner, personal ironing and laundry can be provided at a nominal fee to be arranged directly with the staff, as can be arranged with any other services our guests might need.

Our family stay at Hilda's villa was exceptional. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and perfectly designed for comfort and relaxation. Private, tranquil, and conveniently located to access every amenity at Casa de Campo.The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and professional—making our stay effortless and truly special. Selini and Ivan consistently went above and beyond to make our stay as stress-free and memorable as possible. Hilda is an equally impressive host. From the moment we booked our stay, she was super responsive and helpful. The pride she has in her property and as a premier host to ensure every detail was thoughtfully handled is unmistakable. We had an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We will be back!

Beautiful property with plenty of room to spread out for our family. Quiet and comfortable, and easy to get around the resort. The staff were very helpful and kind. We would definitely return to this relaxing and spacious home.

Our family of four with two teenagers loved this home. The design of the space is welcoming and very peaceful and private with furnished courtyards, gardens and the pool in the center and all of the rooms surrounding them in a "U" shape. We were only ever truly inside while sleeping or showering, and with the perfect weather we loved that. The fact that it faces the golf course makes the outdoor space feel even larger and very park-like and the course and gardens were meticulously maintained.
The staff are very friendly, accommodating and unobtrusive, and it was a true luxury to just show up to enjoy breakfast and lunch every day and then leave the cleaning to them. We got a ride from the airport and then rented an electric golf cart and could get everywhere on the resort easily with it, a car is not necessary if you don't mind the open air of a golf cart. The house is in a good location within the resort in that the lovely beach, hotel and Altos de Chavon are all easy drives of between about 7-15 minutes.
We came in June 2021 and the DR was under pandemic restrictions but they didn't interfere much with our plans, other than limiting the restaurants that were open at night. The resort feels very proactive in requiring masks and temperature checks at all entry points, and it was very easy to take the PCR test currently required before re-entry into the US (even if you are vaccinated). They do it on-site in a room near the hotel and you do have to pay$110/person and reserve it ahead of time through the resort website.
Finally, as mentioned in other reviews, working with Hilda, the homeowner, was completely wonderful. She was wholly responsive over email both before and during the stay, and put in a lot of extra effort helping us navigate the changing pandemic restrictions while we were there. We were lucky to experience her gorgeous home and would absolutely recommend it!
