I travel frequently from USA and have been fortunate enough to stay in hotels, resorts, and guesthouses all over the world. Every once in a while, you discover a place that is so special it completely exceeds your expectations. Casa Atanasiu is one of those rare hidden gems.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The hosts are some of the nicest people we’ve met during our travels. They truly care about their guests, and it shows in every little detail. Their hospitality isn’t something you can teach—it’s simply who they are.
The cleanliness deserves its own paragraph. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere this immaculate. Every room, every surface, every corner was absolutely spotless. The property is maintained with an incredible level of pride and attention to detail that is becoming harder and harder to find.
The location couldn’t be more perfect. You’re literally steps away from the Black Church and everything the beautiful Old Town of Brașov has to offer, yet the street is peaceful and quiet, allowing for a wonderful night’s sleep.
What impressed me most was that Casa Atanasiu doesn’t just provide a place to sleep—it creates an experience. Waking up to fresh coffee and homemade treats, being greeted with genuine smiles, and feeling like you are staying with people who truly love what they do makes all the difference.
If you’re looking for luxury, you’ll find something even better here: authenticity, warmth, impeccable cleanliness, and hospitality that comes straight from the heart.
To the wonderful hosts: thank you for making our stay unforgettable. We will absolutely return the next time we’re in Brașov, and I’ll be recommending Casa Atanasiu to every friend and family member visiting Romania.
Without question, this is one of the finest places I’ve ever stayed anywhere in the world. Five stars simply aren’t enough.
